Sport BJJ for self defense, Spider Guard, and Christian Beliefs Chapter 2 (well, part of chapter 2 anyways) are all discussed on today's podcast. Joe Blank is a white belt who started at my BJJ academy 2 weeks before I did. Unfortunately, Joe has been plagued with injuries and life circumstances that have kept him off the mats for an extended period of time. This week Joe will be back on the mats to roll, healthy with a normal work schedule that will allow him to begin training consistently again. We discussed the psychology of dealing with injuries, the mental aspect of injuries and returning to training. We also discuss handling discouraging thoughts and self-doubt.
