Jacqueline got in touch with the show from France and told Andrea she had decide not to visit Ireland on holiday because of the increase in prices. Horses in Killarney could be asked to wear special shoes as councilors look for a solution to the damage hooves are doing to local roads. Cathy Gibbons, a pediatrician working in Temple Street hospital, was called in last night to attend to a critically ill child. Due to limited parking spaces, she left her car outside the hospital paying for the maximum stay. However, her day became a twelve hour day and she left to find her car had been clamped. This was her third time being clamped at work. Vegetarians are being ‘left behind’ by restaurants who are dropping meat free options like omlettes and quiche for vegan options that exclude cheese, butter and eggs. The UK’s Vegetarian Society say they are receiving complaints that traditional vegetarian options are being replaced by vegan dishes. Former World Boxing Champion Bernard Dunne knows all too well the effect the condition can have on people as his daughter Caoimhe is Coeliac. He joined Andrea to share his experience.
