It’s Time to Take It!   Our last time together we looked at Abram and Lot.   God showed Abram the land he was to possess but God also instructed Abram to walk the land he was to possess.    We realized seeing it from afar wasn’t enough!  Seeing if from afar didn’t allow him to know what the land was really like.   By faith as a local body we responded to the Word and began to walk the land!   This time Holy Spirit wants to talk to us about possessing our possessions!   Possess To have and hold as property; own, To seize and take control of; take into one’s possession   Possession The act of having or taking into control; Control or occupancy of property without regard to ownership   Holy Spirit said:  POSSESSION MUST START IN YOUR THINKING!  IT’S TIME TO SHIFT OUR THINKING FROM SHOULD OF, COULD OF, WOULD OF TO AN I’M TAKING IT MENTALITY!   Matthew 11:12  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.   Holy Spi

Separation for Elevation   We are called to a higher level!   Anytime you proceed to a new place there will be things that try to prevent you from reaching that place. You must leave the lower level to go to the higher level Lower is not necessarily bad but higher is the place God is calling you.   Example:  appointment on the 2nd floor You’re in the lobby on the first floor.   How will you get to what God has for you on the 2nd floor? In order to get to the 2nd floor you must separate yourself from the first floor. There’s a means to take you there but if you don’t take it you’ll have to reschedule You can even make a decision to get there but if you don’t take the means to get there you’ll still have to reschedule. Going to levels is not easy!  It takes discipline! Before you can even take a step you have to take one in your thought life.   Holy Spirit said:  MANY WANT TO GO TO THE 2ND FLOOR BUT THEY STILL HAVE A FIRST FLOOR MENTALITY!   Separation is necessary!
