Some in the media are calling for outlets to stop covering the daily news briefings given by the President and the task force. But, what if we stop watching certain media outlets due to their coverage of the virus? It's almost as if they are disappointed that the death toll from covid will be lower than the original models predicted. They are finding reasons to question the original numbers and asking what is the President gaining from all of this. Their hatred of President Trump has always been on display, but during a health crisis surpasses all understanding. In other news, the UFC plans to host an event is the near future.

A Democrat leader in Ohio says she wants to turn President Trump in to the Hague, the international criminal court, for "crimes against humanity." She wants to do this due to the fact that the President is optimistic about the use of hydroxychloroquine. The President has never demanded doctors or governors use the drug. He, and others, see that it has shown positive signs treating people with coronavirus. The President has said it's a decision between the patient and their doctor. His point, why not try it?

The Surgeon General and the Covid-19 task force suggests this will be our toughest week yet in our fight against the coronavirus. He stated the United States is in for a tough few weeks as models have predicted the possible fatality rate of Covid-19. On Sunday, Dr. Fauci came out, during the daily press briefings, stating that a new model shows that as many as 1 million Americans could contract the coronavirus and as many as 100,000 people could die. The President has extended the social distancing order another 30 days. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said relief checks will be sent out in April. Nancy Pelosi claims the President is "fiddling" instead of focusing on the crisis. Chuck Todd asks Joe Biden if the President has "blood on his hands" regarding his response to the coronavirus.

The Senate unanimously, 96-0, passed a $2 trillion stimulus bill to aid American families during the coronavirus crisis. The bill outlined relief to be sent to individuals and families, unemployment benefits were extended, small businesses are eligible for loans, and money has been set aside for the airline industry among other provisions.

A stimulus package has been agreed on and will hopefully pass to help put money into the pockets of Americans. President Trump gave his daily press conference late yesterday afternoon. He's optimistic about our progress in fighting this virus and hopes to "reopen" the country around Easter.

The Senate & House of Representatives are having trouble getting a stimulus bill out to the American people. The Senate has been working closely with Treasury Secretary Mnuchin. However, twice now, the Senate has voted no on the bill. Politics always drives some of these decisions, but at this point in time, they need to come together and work out a deal. We're all learning to adjust to a new normal of self-isolation, restaurants and businesses being closed and schools out until at least May. On Friday, the President and NBC News reporter, Peter Alexander, had a heated exchange over the way the President delivers his message to the American people.

The government's response to the coronavirus will likely include a stimulus check to almost every American. But, what are the actual costs? Will the stimulus drive our economy right into the ground? Then what? Will the cost outweigh the benefits?
