We're all carrying something heavy. The world will give us a lot of options as to how to deal with the weight that's burdening us, but we know as Christians we are called to worship. Today we learn our first song found in Psalms 46, the song of sovereignty.

We're most at risk in the middle. It's in the middle that we need more people, protection, and purpose to keep hammering! Greater things are coming.

We are created to contribute! Contributing fills our hearts in ways consuming never could. The good news is we don't have to do it alone, Jesus calls all Christians to the same thing, to "go and make". We all have a part to play! Ask God today how He can begin using you.

There's a big difference between motivation and inspiration. Motivation has an external push, but we need an internal pull. We learn from Nehemiah that his inspiration was not self-generated, it was God-given.

Just like in football, God has a play He wants our team to run and in order to do that we've gotta be ready! But how do we know if we are? Well, Jon shows us today that if we want to be spiritually ready, we've got to be devoted.

We kicked off a new series today called Brick By Brick. More than a series, this is an invitation for you to be a part of the next 5 years of Mission Church. Brick By Brick begins with brokenness. Brokenness over our sin and situation can come by praying this simple prayer: God, break my heart for what breaks yours.

For our final week of Summer On The Mount Jeff Brooke join us to teach us about what it looks like to be persecuted for our faith today in our context. What if we could look at persecution as a blessing instead of a curse?
