God's faithfulness is what got us here. It's been an incredible 10 years and we are not done.

Are you ready for the return of Christ? Bible-believing Christians know that Jesus is coming back, we just don't know when. So we have to be ready! Our Co-Founding Pastor Jon Peacock taught us about the five ways we will know if we're ready and how to get there.

Today we learned about something we all deal with, temptation. This message isn't about condemnation, but about conviction. Sexual morality is possible and Jon taught us three key practices to resiste it: surft it, confess it, and uproot it.

We’re all standing on something, the question today is, are you standing on the promises of God? We are destined for trials in our life, so we have to be ready for them. Our Co-Founding Pastor Jon Peacock taught us about three truths that we can stand on in the midst of our trials.

The church in Thessalonica experienced a movement of Jesus and today we starting learning about how they made that happen. A movement of Jesus here like they had in Thessalonica is not about waiting, it’s about working. The way Paul preached about Jesus caused people to change their whole lives. They felt the weight of Pauls words and knew they had to do something to help others find Jesus too. We want to help you work, labor, and endure to experience all God longs to do in and through you.

Since Mission began in 2011 we have said that we are for the neighborhood. Being a church that doesn’t neighbor with love, isn’t the church. Our Co-Founding Pastor Tommy Bowman inspired us today to start living in a way that will make our neighbors question us. (In a good way!) Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with everything we have. What comes after that? To love our neighbors. Tommy gave us some really helpful tools that you can start today to do that: Available. Blessed. Curious.

We could all use a little more training in prayer, so we figured a week two on prayer was necessary! Jesus demonstrated a praying to but also a praying through. We know there is a war but we must use prayer as our weapon.

If there was one thing the disciples knew how to do, it was to pray. But for some reason, they still asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. That's because Jesus' prayer life was so obviously different than there's! Today's teaching is a great starting or re-starting point for your prayer life. God desires to be in relationship with you and prayer is one of the key ways to do that.

Why drift, tangle, crash, paddle, and capsize in this life when we literally have an anchor for this life? Everyone of us is "anchoring" in something, but nothing holds like the Bible.

When the famous Christian author Dallas Willard was asked how he would describe Jesus in one word, his answer was "unhurried". If we want to become more godly, we must train to live an unhurried life. Not only is that counter-cultural to our "hustle" mindset society, but it's also really difficult and takes a lot of training to break the habits of busyness that we have created. Lean in today and ask yourself what steps you can take retreat in solitude this week.

Today we learned all about the importance of training ourselves to be godly. The goal isn't to be God, the goal is to train to be more like God.

We welcomed The Head Of School at Wheaton Christian, Jeff Brooke, to 82 Stratford Drive this weekend! He read through the story of when Jesus healed the paralyzed man and taught us how it is not our job to transform, but to bring people to Jesus who can transform.

We've all asked these two questions: "What's the point?" and "What's my purpose?" Dan Ruta is breaking down how Jesus answers those two questions for us. Jesus invites all of us into a great life through the Great Commission found in Matthew 28.

Rest is crucial for our mental and physical health. So often we resist rest but Jesus actually invites us into rest! Jackie Glass teaches us how we can find rest for ourselves and for our souls through Jesus by looking at Matthew 11:28-30.
