It’s Reconciliation Week! We talk to Western Sydney filmmaker Laurrie Brannigan-Onata about Screen Australia’s contribution to Indigenous filmmaking. We talk about Harvey Weinstein finally being taken in to police, Kanye west and Adam Curtis, and of course Danny Boyle directing the new James Bond. We review Deadpool 2 and Solo. Both these reviews contain a list of indigenous film screenings that people are better off seeing over Deadpool 2 and Solo. We finish with a Sydney Spotlight that has us interview Laurrie about Indigenous film and her favourite film Samson and Delilah.

They bring in props master and art department head Courtney Mulvay to share her experiences of #MeToo, and what it’s like to work with a toxic film crew. In Sydney Spotlight we continue our discussion with Courtney Mulvay about bad behaviour on film sets.

Jack and André are now in L.A in front of where La La Land was filmed, and they’re definitely making fun of Hollywood. They talk meeting Sia Furler at a supermarket, Australian filmmaker Jennifer Kent’s early work, and review Phantom Thread and I, Tonya (which they saw in a creepy cinema in Salt Lake City). For Sydney Spotlight they talk about how amazing Margot Robbie is.
