Your Favourite Harry Potter Moments!
29/11/2019 Duración: 01h43minThis week, Alex & Dan are joined by the channel's (and arguably, the nation's) foremost expert on Harry Potter, taking you the listener through the world's most favourite Wizard and his coming of age story. The trio recall their most memorable moments from the books and films and thanks to Vicky, explore some of the back story behind these events. From the humble beginnings of the boy Wizard's entry into the Wizarding World, to the final moments of the flash forward at the end of The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (which no one asked for!) - they take you on a magical journey with plenty of discussion and debate along the way! With revelations of drastic joy riding given alternative magical means of transportation (speak to an adult!), the demise of a Star Trek Red Shirt (and Riker's Majestic Beard!), a Scottish accented-Dan and the Marauder's Map showing a strange visitor to the boy's dormitory and no one noticing - this would surely have you scrambling for the DVD collection to start watching the films! Movie Reboots!
22/11/2019 Duración: 01h14minThey came, they saw - and they came around again? But should they have done? Featuring films such as Star Trek, The Mummy, Independence Day, Kong: Skull Island, Batman Begins, Aladdin and many more, the south coast duo take on some of the most successful and woefully pitiful reboots, providing their thoughts on the cash cows and whether the audience deserved the films they - in most instances - never asked for! Dan also continues to overshare with some comedic handwritten note failures - can someone crowdfund a Tablet please? And Soon? Also, do you fancy a TWRAD #GITS

That ain't no vegan dinosaur (Battle of Big Rock Film Review)
15/11/2019 Duración: 26minThis week, Alex & Dan review a perfectly sized, digital-only short film from Jurassic World's Colin Treverrow, who directs 7 mins of delicious Dinosaur Ciematic Gold, where the events of the previous film (which you of course listened to our review...wait, you didn't? We have you covered in the links below!) were now a year ago and the Dinsoaurs are out in the big wide world. A fantastic well-balanced short film gives audiences an insight into what the yet-untitled Jurassic World 3 will look like in 2021 and explores some interesting new ground in this no-expense-spared short. Sit back, relax and enjoy this review from the south coast dynamic duo - who bloody love a dinosaur flick! Your Marvel Cinematic Movie Moments!
10/11/2019 Duración: 01h22minIt's the big one! From 23 films over 10 years, the south coast dynamic duo have a tough task this week, as they have to choose their favourite moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe - and thanks to the power of social media, the listener's lend a hand and share some of theirs, too! From where it all began with Iron Man back in 2008 with RDJ uttering those most famous words, Samuel L Jackson walking out of the shadows in the post credit scenes - to a miniature battle from 2015's Ant-Man, dance off's in Guardians of the Galaxy and the reveal of Peter Parker's identity in Spider-Man Homecoming - the boys do their best to cover some of the most iconic scenes from the first three phases! The duo digress during this session, pitching their epic movie ideas with the pizza-fed New York rodent versus the mutant south coast Seagull (are you in?). Dan also discusses bootleg Dr Dre CD's in Time Square and some of the tourist trappings which he experienced during his time in the city.... but what does th

Gaming Films Vol.1
18/10/2019 Duración: 49minThis week, Alex & Dan delve into the archives to review the films which were made for the silver screen from the TV screen - but should they have done? This genre takes a beating from critics and cinema go-ers, but are they all that bad? Uncharacteristically, Alex provides a couple of positive reviews straight out of the starting block - but as we suspect, it doesn't last for long! Featuring reviews from World of Warcraft, Need for Speed - to Jolie's Tomb Raider and Wreck-It Ralph! Thanks to the power of social media, we also have some of yours (shout out to the Accidental Pod guys and local talent Strong Island)! Sit back, relax and enjoy some time down memory lane with the south coast duo. We also learn that Dan's penchant for red wine has an adverse effect on his ability to read and write! Who would have thought? We also have a rare insight into the antics of a young adolescent Dan in the cinema... What do you think of our choices? Get involved and let us know!
