12/04/2019Palestine Remembered 13-4-19Dr Ahmad Al-Azem; a Palestinian academic from BirZeit University and political commentator gave us an insight into the Israeli elections in light of the rise of fascism and diminishing support for peace in Israel. We played a recording of Bahaa; tour guide from Hebron, telling pro-Palestine activists what it means to be occupied in your own city. We also celebrated the Algerian and Sudanese people's victory after they forced their long-standing rulers to step down via peaceful protests.

01/02/2019This week Palestine remembered talks about recent BDS news including Malaysia's principled stand in not allowing Israel to compete in the World Paralympics and the Irish parliament's continuing movement to ban Israeli settlement goods as well as a new campaign by Amnesty International calling for a boycott of hotel booking sites that list illegal settlement homes for rent. We also thank Jewish Voice for Peace for their stand against Zionism.
