Palestine Remembered talks to Robert about his visit to the Palestinian village of Al- Walajeh and the current wave of house demolitions.  We also talk about the US decision to defund UNRWA as well as two exciting announcements: The Jerusalem (Al Quds) Peace Prize and the syndication of Yousef, Tarek and Dareen's new 3CR show "Anaa min hunak" to Raya FM in Palestine.

Palestine Remembered this week covers some important issues including yet another potential village demolition and the uprooting of the inhabitants of Khan al-Ahmar by Israel, last Monday's strike in the West Bank and Gaza against the Nation-State Bill a racist bill the Knesset has passed, the closure of the PLO office in Washington by the Trump administration and finally a new idea for Palestine from the programme's presenters.

This Week Palestine Remembered presents a collection of Arabic language songs and poems on the themes of Palestine and Resistance.  Yousef introduces works by Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese (and other nationalities) artists, all performing in Arabic.

Michael Shaik returns to Palestine Remembered.  Michael is a local author and actvist with Palestinian groups both here and abroad.  They discuss recent developments in Palestine, including the August 9 bombing of a cultural centre in Gaza and the continuing targetting of Palestinian intellectuals and cultural activists.

This week on Palestine Remembered we look at the ongoing Nakba, and the crisis in Syria as it affects the citizens of Yarmouk camp in the southern part of Damascus.

This week Palestine Remembered revisits Yarmouk and Syria, we discuss the ongoing Nakba and devastation of the once almost "normal" Palestinian life and what has happened to those who have survived this most recent of Nakba's and the forced removal of almost 1100 families to North Aleppo. 

This week Palestine Remembered interviews Miko Peled, an Israeli-American activist and author of The General’s Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine and Injustice: The Story of the Holy Land Foundation Five. 

Our guest this week is Dr Olfat Mahmoud, an inspiring Palestinian woman who visited Australia last week to launch her book "Tears for Tarshiha".  The book beautifully narrates Olfat's journey as a refugee and her never-ending longing for return to Palestine.  Olfat is also a director of an NGO that provides support for women in some of the camps in Lebanon.

Palestine Remembered interviews Palestinian-American human rights attorney Noura Erakat, an Assistant Professor at George Mason University and we also discuss the passing of the “Nation State” bill in the Israeli Knesset. 

Palestinian journalist and activist Mutasem Dalloul spoke to us from Gaza about his role in the Great Return March as a journalist, participant and a person who survived serious injury from Israeli snipers. Mutasem shed light on the deep impact of the prolonged siege especially on the health sector in Gaza, the use of poisonous bullets and other forms of Israeli violations of human rights.

Palestine remembered speaks about the momentous and courageous decision of the Irish senate to pass the first BDS legislation in the EU, we also commemorate Palestinian leader and revolutionary Ghassab Kanafani, and congratulate Palestinian students in their Tawjihi (Year 12) results and report on the ongoing humanitarian disaster occurring in Gaza.

This week Palestine remembered speaks to Amer Hlehel about his play Taha about Palestinian poet Taha Muhammad Ali that listeners can see at the Arts Centre Melbourne July 10-14, also, an update on BDS and a discussion on our politicians and their visits to Israel. 

This week on Palestine Remembered, Robert speaks with Hisham Sharabati from the Hebron Defence Committee about living under the occupation.

In this week's episode, Palestine Remembered will bring you the first part of an interview Robert did with Mr Amjad Al-Kassis, from Badil Legal Network (Bethlehem) about the roots of the Zionist project, and the context of early Jewish migration to Palestine.

This week Palestine Remembered will be joined from Jerusalem by Ahmad Safadi director of the Elia Youth Media Foundation to discuss issues including their recent forced closure,  17th anniversary of professor Faisal Al-Husseini's passing, the 121st anniversary of Orient House and the continuing cover-up over the Great Return March massacres.  The team also look at the demographic war on the citizens of East Jerusalem.
