Show Notes Episode 496: It’s Not Tv, It’s The Green Channel This week Host Dave Bledsoe got hammered and spent four hours trying to explain to a bartender how you could see boobs in TV  static when he was a kid. (Again.) On the show this week we take a look at how boobs and sports changed television forever, we talk about the birth of HBO! Along the way we learn that Dave’’s grandparents were too poor to afford more than one television station. (We think?) Then we dive into the history of paying to watch something you can get over the air for free. (Yay Capitalism!) Then we meet a man with a dream, a dream to get people to pay to watch television! We follow his struggling launch of HBO in Wilkes Barre PA. (Scranton was too good for it!)
