So I've been out of the game for a few months. I've been writing a book about my experiences as a kid being bullied and it's consumed my attention like crazy. ButI finished and edited in 3 months. Now I will have a few folks take a look at it and let me know what they think. Then next big step is to get it published so I can start selling it and go around talking about my experiences.   Additionally I've gotten back into the brewing world. The folks Steel City Coffee House & Brewery asked me to come on board and take over their brewing operations which I was thrilled to do. They are awesome people and I'm glad to be there for them.  Every manager dreads having to deal with some in the office workplace that dresses too provocatively or borderline offensive. The business landscape evolves constantly. There's always going to be change especially with the technology advancements in how we perform our duties, report information and communicate. It's time to improvise adapt and overcome. 

  Many people, adults, find themselves being bullied at work by their manager. This can make your work life absolutely miserable. Here's some thoughts on how to combat this issue. 

Nothing is worse than when a boss or manager takes credit for your great idea or your hard work. Here's some simple tips in dealing with these issues. 

Do you have trouble fitting in at the office? Do you feel like an outsider? Let's fix that!

Too many managers waste their people's time with meetings after meetings. And then have a meeting to prepare for the meeting. Stop having meetings. But if you insist, think about these 5 things before you schedule your people's time away. 

How do I get the most out of my people? A typical question asked or thought of by many managers or leaders. But before you answer that question you first need to understand the problems or what is lacking. Don't just be that manager that tell everyone they need more! More Sales, More production, more output, More whatever! If you need more, be prepared to give more.

Corporations all too often adopt policies of having their people "Do more with less" and it's not a good position. We did that in the military all too often. The difference is we were on a war footing. But in the civilian world, you have to put your money where your mouth is.
