Welcome to another weekend with our River Kids! We are excited to have you! Our River Kids Team works hard to create an engaging, fun, and impactful service for kids! As the school year starts we are staring a brand new series and it's a Block Party! It’s a real celebration when everyone’s invited to the party! With God’s help, we can show friendship by using our words and actions to show others we care. We kick off this series in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 where Solomon wrote, “Two people are better than one. They can help each other in everything they do.” Solomon goes on to reminds us that like a three-strand cord, we are stronger when we work together as friends. Bottom Line: Choose your friends carefully. God designed relationships to help make life easier. As kids become more aware how their friends influence them, it’s important for them to know how to choose good friends. We pray that kids will choose friends who encourage them and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.

At River of Life Church, we are passionate about world missions. Our desire is that all may know Jesus Christ. In the month of September, you'll have a change to hear from different missionaries across our world who share the same vision and heart for missions. Back in the day, when CDs and tapes were in their prime. To make your summer jam playlist took a lot of work, time, and effort. You knew after you made this tape, you were going to keep it forever. And you would play those tapes and CDs on repeat until they simply wore out. In this series, we are looking at things that God says a lot. What is God going to do next? God is drawing more people closer to Him, as millions around the world are searching, sharing scripture, praying, and exploring biblical truths together. Because so many around the world are searching for hope, this may be one of the greatest opportunities to make a difference today, and in eternity. When we're filled with the Holy Spirit, we operate out of the fruits of the spirit. "But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." - Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT) People of the Spirit are full of the Word. We will be diving into faith and trust. We will focus on our faith even when we can't see it.
