People today are facing stress and anger because of our uncertain times! In these times, we are reminded that God promised help, a comforter. He promised strength. God promised faith to conquer. He promises the Holy Spirit. He offers His power! In Acts, we read of five times where people were filled with the Holy Spirit. God is rarely in a hurry and normally makes us wait. This week Pastor Adam talked about the importance of waiting well. The word “wait” means to look for, to hope, and to expect. The waiting is where the molding, shifting, and carving happens. In the season of waiting, we learn to trust God! What are you waiting on God for? Could waiting be a blessing? In our current season, it seems at times that darkness can overwhelm us. We are experiencing a clash of Kingdoms. The Holy Spirit is near in this time, and we are promised that He would pour out His spirit on ALL PEOPLE. Ask and receive the Holy Spirit in this time. "For everyone who asks, receives." It doesn't matter your race, gender, age, job, etc. He wants to pour out His spirit on ALL PEOPLE. We need the Holy Spirit to lead us. The enemy longs to divide relationships in this time. But we know this, we NEED each other! We need to pray for each other. We need to stand with one another and love one another. We need the Word of God. We need community! We are challenging you to turn to the Word of God today. Seek His truth. Call out to Him in times of trouble and see His hand begin to work in your lives.
