Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners from the British Army are raising money and awareness for a military charity with a marathon 24 hour challenge. Grapplers practicing the martial art are rolling on the mats continuously on behalf of Combat Stress. The team aims to complete a minimum of 1000 x 5 minute rounds of full contact sparring. Veterans from Phoenix House recovery centre in Catterick Garrison are gearing up for a culinary competition with Swinton Park Cookery School. Competitors will get a taste of life in a professional kitchen under the tutelage of a top chef before a final cook off.
