Carter has performed with numerous Bay Area theaters. Her favorite roles include Rose in Fences, the Bawd in Pericles, Millie in Trouble in Mind, Effie in Dreamgirls, Mistress Ford in Merry Wives of Winsor and Agnes in Agnes of God.
