14/10/2015 Duración: 59minI AM BEAUTIFUL both inside and out - Thriving through breast cancer "You have breast cancer." She lived her life around with the affirmation “I am BEAUTIFUL both inside and out”, regardless of the loss of her hair, nails, and eyelashes. Traci wanted other women to feel the strength and power she felt during a time when many feel powerless. "In Other Words…" with Gretchen Wallace of Global Grassroots
29/09/2015 Duración: 01h01minThis is my last show with this network. (Contact me at sjscher@inotherwordsgroup.com for updates.) It's been a great run, but it's time to move on. Three years ago, Gretchen Wallace talked with us about her work with women in developing countries, often in what is euphemistically "post-conflict areas" (also known as what's left when war has ravaged a country). What she found is that these women don't need us to tell them what to do. What they need is the resources to implement the solutions. She created her Global Grassroots Foundation to provide them those resources so they can create positive change for the women and girls in their community. In a few weeks, we'll be checking back in with Gretchen for an update, so it's time to replay the original show.
