The Chancey Brothers are, perhaps, the quintessential Irish American family band, developing a hunger for both Irish and contemporary music at a very young age. Music and dance filled their home where they learned to stepdance, sing and play a variety of musical instruments. Youngest brother, Bob Chancey, recalls an early fondness for show tunes and Broadway musicals. "Music always filled our home...", says Bob, "...but I always loved the show tunes from Cabaret, My Fair Lady and Oklahoma.” Peer pressure from older siblings, Gregg and Dave, thankfully pushed Bob in a different direction. The Chancey Brothers stopped into the Windy City Irish Radio studios to perform live and talk about their upcoming CD slated for release by St. Patrick's Day 2014. Join Tim Taylor & Mike Shevlin for an evening of music and stories with the Chancey Brothers on Windy City Irish Radio. You can listen live each Wednesday evening from 8pm to 9pm CST on 1240AM WSBC Chicago and 1470AM WCFJ Chicago Height
