  • SCOUT REPORT: Josh Grant ft Argyle Life

    30/06/2020 Duración: 11min

In this scout report Mets is joined by Sam from Argyle Life to walk about 21 midfielder Josh Grant who spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Plymouth.A bit of a bomb scare at centre back when he first joined on loan from Chelsea, he lacked the aerial ability and strength to cut it at League Two level. A switch to defensive centre midfield has proved to be a revelation. His reading of the game and passing ability have meant he was one of Argyles best performers with Ryan Lowe offering a permanent deal.A move to BS7 looks more likely as its an easier commute back to London for the young lad.Support the show (https://patreon.com/gascast)

A major strength being his composure on the ball which sounds like why Garner is in for him.A weakness is that he needs a leader next to him. With Tony Craig departing this summer, will Rovers be able to get a player in a similar mould to replace him?Support the show (https://patreon.com/gascast)
