Peace is something that we need almost more than we need anything. There is so much stress in life and anything that will relieve the stress is welcomed. John 16:33 I have told you these things so you may have peace in Me. In the world, you will have much trouble. But take hope! I have power over the world!” (NLV)I want to talk to you today on a subject most shun away from, as it is most likely the number one area causing stress and distress in our lives and how God deals with it. Note: Let me make a statement, ‘God is interested in our money.’ Not that He needs it, but because you and I do! He understands its weight in and on our lives. This is why the Lord spoke on the subject of money and possessions more than any other subject in scripture. HE KNEW WE’D NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CONQUER OUR POSSESSIONS, LEST THEY CONQUER US!!!

If God has made us Victorious in Him, why doesn’t it seem that way? Today let’s look past the symptoms and jump right to the problem. ‘If God has no limitations, why do we? The fact is we’ve limited ourselves and in this we’ve limited God; HOW? BY OUR ATTITUDES.We spend too much time thinking we have to know where everything is or how everything goes before we get to where everyone wants… the top!

Everyone wants to win. To win all you want, you must give all you have. Scripture says, ‘what good does it do to gain the whole world, and lose your own soul?’ In another scripture, it speaks of all those who ‘lose the world’, but ‘gain Christ; ‘despite all these things overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us’. I have heard many over the year’s talk about luck. He or she got a break. They were just in the right place at the right time. Yet you know what I’ve come to believe… some succeed because they’re destined too, but I believe most succeed because they are determined too. To all who are willing to lose everything to gain everything, Paul said it this way: ‘I forget what is behind; I press on.’ Jesus said it this way: ‘No one putting his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for God’s Kingdom.’ Winners keep pressing forward! One of the main keys in living a Victorious Christian Life, is learning to trust God and the desire He has towards those that are His children. I’ve found that probably the greatest comfort in life is knowing the One I love and Who loves me is committed to always being there. To build our Christian life we must work on and develop the understanding of this truth and develop TRUST that we are His and He in ours! I John 3:2

This young man saw storm clouds looming! God already knew and was about to show up! I think much of the problem many Christians have in every day life, is not the understanding of God’s word, but man’s teaching of God’s word. Let’s look at life from God’s perspective, ‘THE EYE OF THE STORM.’

As I’ve clearly stated over the years our ‘Christian view’ of God to say the least is tainted by a ‘worldview’ many have of God, especially when things are going bad. There are many that somehow see God as someone who can never be pleased and will disown us at anytime. This is not the God we serve! This morning, if I do only one thing, I’d like to help each of us see God in a new and fresh way. How much he really loves us, and help to understand that the love God has and gives is one that has no strings attached. A love that truly is unconditional.

This morning can I talk to you about you? Contrary to popular belief, the most important things in creation are not the animals, the trees, the oceans, or even the environment. I’m not against any of these things nor do I demean their importance. It just must be said that all this was created for us, so we must make our minds up how we choose to treat our life and what is around us.At final tally, when all has been said and done the most important of all God’s creation is YOU! We are of much more value than we put on ourselves, especially as Christians. MANY, BECAUSE OF WRONG TEACHING, TEND TO DEVALUE THIER WORTH IN THE NAME OF HUMILITY, when the bible teaches that PERSONAL SELF ESTEEM is one of the key elements to humility.Hear this truth… IF WE’LL LOOK AT OURSELVES AS WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST, WE’LL NEVER AGAIN HAVE TO TRY TO PROVE TO OTHERS WHO WE ARE IN OURSELVES.

THE LAW OF THE HARVEST IS SIMPLY THE LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING. So why do we not reap as we’ve sown? Understanding and attitude are critical to reaping. Whether good or bad, right or wrong; we’ll reap. Sow to the spirit, reap blessing; and sow of the flesh, reap corruption. The problem’s not the seed (God’s Word), but HOW we plant. God’s Word is called a seed

Last week we spoke of what happens when we give! I want to minister today from a perspective that I believe most Christians’ don’t consider. Why do Christians, when they know God’s Word advocates, and not only requires, but also assumes that Christians are supposed to tithe; still don’t? Let’s try to consider the reason most Christian’s ‘who’ don’t tithe, ‘won’t’… it has to do with the other 90% of God’s money ...which He charges us to be good stewards. Understand, God wants us to be financially free, but He’ll allow us to live in a prison of our own making if we insist to do things our way instead of His.
