A spiritual war that dates back to creation and will finally end at the end of the Millennium when Satan and his fallen angel co-horts are cast into the lake of fire forever and ever. Until then Satan’s goal has been to destroy the seed of Jesus Christ and when that failed to destroy Israel His chosen seed and harass Jesus Christ’s followers and break the Abrahamic promise. 8/11/2024 God Is Orchestrating These Last Days The Globalists actually have to be pretty impressed with what they have been able to do. They got the whole world to shut down over a cold virus. They got the most popular president in history out of office. They got the most despised crook in congress elected as he stayed in his basement. Now they have Kamala Harris all set to take office in January. What American’s vote for these people? If they did vote for them? God is allowing us the leaders we deserve around the world. He is bringing remedial judgment upon the world for our ungodly ways and sexual sin. And it first shows in low morality of the people and at the last in foolish leadership. That’s where we are today.

Evil leaders who hate Israel. In 2 Kings Israel is divided into two lands. Israel to the north and Judah to the south. Israel never had a good king. Judah had four. Jehoshaphat is one of them. For this battle against the Moabites three kings united. Israel, Judah and Edom to defeat the Moabites.

In a world of lies and deceit and chaos and confusion it has never been more important to live like Jesus. We are the light of the world that desperately needs Jesus. In a time when people ought to be filling our churches with all the trouble in Israel. The satanic music and movies…the Middle east is on fire…..Russia and China are moving on the US and Israel…..you would think people would wake up. But we are deceived with constant barrage of stories about Trump, Biden, Kamala Harris, gender, open borders, attempted assasination, elections, Olympics, sports, personal health and inflation. Never before has it been more important to be like Jesus than today.

America is collapsing before our very eyes. We have been given the leaders we deserve in America due to our sin and due to the fact that we don’t tolerate Preaching the word of God. In these last of the last days….what should we be doing? What is the only thing that can save the world. Not talking about the earth….but the world of people?

But it took a world war to really accomplish that. Any time the world tries to make things new it turns out to be a disaster. Communism was a new way of doing government. It is a disaster to everyone except those on top. We have new things all the time that are good. But when the government has a new program how often is it good for us? God gave us a New Covenant and it is the greatest thing that could ever happen to Jew and gentile alike.

7/14/2024 Hebrews 3:12-14 Now Is Not The Time To Quit Intro: Winners don’t quit they just regroup and come back stronger than ever! Abraham Lincoln lost forty jobs. He was even fired from his postmaster job! Now how do we remember Him? You may fail once or 40 times but don’t quit if it is something worthwhile. Hall of fame baseball players fail to get a hit seven out of ten times! Hall of fame basketball players miss half of their shots and some lose half of their games! But if your team is up by 40 points with one minute to go in the national championship game……would you quit? That’s what many in the church are doing today! They are quitting with the victory withing their grasp! They have quit going to church…they have quit reading the Bible. They have quit telling others that Jesus is coming soon! Of all the times to quit this is absolutely the worst time. God’s time clock is down to seconds to go. Can’t you hold out for just a little while longer? Many have said NO!!!

7/7/2024 2 Samuel 7:15-24 God Keeps His Promises Intro: Originally, the books of 1 and 2 Samuel were one book. The translators of the Septuagint separated them, and we have retained that separation ever since. The events of 1 Samuel span approximately 100 years, from c. 1100 B.C. to c. 1000 B.C. The events of 2 Samuel cover another 40 years. The date of writing, then, would be sometime after 960 B.C. The book of 2 Samuel can be divided into two main sections—David’s triumphs (chapters 1-10) and David’s troubles (chapters 11-20). The last part of the book (chapters 21-24) is a non-chronological appendix which contains further details of David’s reign. This passage Nathan the prophet gives a message from God to encourage King David and to remind Him that God always does what He says He will do. We all need to remember this message today.

7/7/2024 Ezekiel 28:21-26 Sidon Ezekiel 28:21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it, Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against her. Tyre is located in modern day Lebanon. It is 50 miles south of Beirut, Lebanon. Tyre is a 105 miles north of Jerusalem. Sidon is also in Lebanon. A seaport city on the Mediterranean Sea. Sidon was the firstborn son of Canaan, who was a son of Ham, thereby making Sidon a great-great grandson of Noah. Sidon is 20 miles north of Tyre, and only 30 miles south of Beirut. Sidon is about 125 miles north of Israel. Tyre and Sidon are but a shadow of their former selves today. Sidon is southern Lebanon which today is where Hezbollah is staging their attacks on Israel. Ezekiel prophesy’s that Sidon will attack Israel and be destroyed by God.

And we don’t really know what we have in Christ. But Paul did and God does. We have everything in Him. Words are hard to find to describe our riches in Christ. But Paul gives a pretty good description.

6/9/2024 Jeremiah 32:32-42 God’s Promises of Judgment and Of Hope Intro: Jeremiah the prophet lived in the final days of the crumbling nation of Judah. He was, appropriately, the last prophet that God sent to preach to the southern kingdom, which comprised the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. God had repeatedly warned Israel to stop their idolatrous behavior, but they would not listen, so He tore the 12 tribes asunder, sending the 10 northern tribes into captivity at the hands of the Assyrians. Then God sent Jeremiah to give Judah the last warning before He cast them out of the land, decimating the nation and sending them into captivity in the pagan kingdom of Babylon. Jeremiah, a faithful, God-fearing man, was called to tell Judah that, because of their unrepentant sin, their God had turned against them and was now prepared to remove them from the land at the hands of a pagan king.
