God's plan for His people is specific... Specific to HIS plans and purposes for our lives. It is imperative that we, as the people of God, stay in faith as we walk out our destiny in Him. Don't get ahead of God. And don't rob from your future to satisfy some fleeting desire in your present.

The consequences of willfully living a deceived life gives satan unrestrained access to impact other areas and other people in your life. It was this same type of deception, fueled with a self-ambition to be omnipotent in their own strength, that brought disaster and ruin to our human parents created in the Garden of Eden. The force of deception is only annihilated by countering with the Truth and Light of the living Word of God.

Fear is the reciprocal of faith and allows satan access into your life. Fear is a spiritual force, just like faith, but fear will bring to pass everything you DON'T want to happen in your life. Guard against praying any fear-based prayers, or practicing biblical principles out of fear.

The Resurrection of Christ -- it ushers in the restored and bought-back-from-the-pits-of-hell life of all humanity. Unfortunately, far too many Christians are more concerned about grass and candy-filled baskets and chocolate bunnies on a day like today, instead of contemplating the power of the Resurrection. God, through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, “set the record straight” by conquering physical and spiritual death and all the power of the enemy with Christ's promised resurrection.

God has a great desire to see all of His children to walk in the fullness of His manifested goodness, but it will require each of us to walk in true holiness. Satan understands the power of holiness and will attempt to hinder you from experiencing everything Jesus said He came to offer. Therefore, it’s up to you to guard against this attack against the purposes and plans of God for your life – plans that include good and not evil.

There is an expectation by God that we, His children, serve Him ALL our days.  In every season of our earthly lives, believers will have the privilege of obeying God and ministering to other people. And because there is no “pre-retirement” plan from the work God has called us to, we must be proactive in seeking His ways to remain young and to stay fruitful throughout every season of life.

The Word of God teaches us that, one day, every Believer will stand before the Lord and give an account of his/her life (the deeds, the actions, the words). On that day, our lives will have had to reflect that of Christ-and His likeness-while He was on the earth. Lest we forget, Jesus Christ is the barometer; He is that Standard by which every Believer will be judged.

What is the legacy that others will remember you by? Stand-outs such as Abraham, Moses, David, Peter, and Paul have all inspired believers throughout the ages with their stalwart faith and exploits performed for the Lord. Each of them, although imperfect, is an amazing example of what the Lord can do through hearts that are truly committed to Him. But that speaks to their lives, and their exploits. What all of heaven is interested in right now is, what about you? When it is all said and done, will the writings in the Great Book record that you, too, loved God with your whole heart?

There are some practical things that every believer can do to position themselves to receive more revelation of the Word and life of God. Revelation draws us into deeper relationship with God because it reveals a deeper awareness of the purposes and plans He has for us individually, as well as regarding His greater plan of redemption for mankind.

Most often, Hollywood portrays a warrior as a fearless, physically strong, tenacious individual who is ready to take on the world. Conversely, when Hollywood portrays a Christian, he/she is always portrayed as weak and fearful. It is important that those of us who truly love God represent Him and His Kingdom well. We must be willing to stand up for righteousness, defend the weak (spiritually/physically), and literally be willing to give our all for the advancement of the Kingdom. Why? Because even as I speak, there is a spiritual battle going on, and every Believer in God’s Kingdom has been called to bear arms. The warfare I speak of is REAL and it is NOW. Being unprepared and ill-equipped for it can literally mean the difference between success and failure; life and death...

Why do Christians go through trials? The quick answer is simply because they choose to. A trial is only a trial when we lose sight of the GRACE of God that is upon our lives. Will we experience challenges in life; absolutely. But do we have to struggle? Absolutely not. God's grace is sufficient...

When we go through tough times, it may truly feel like God has abandoned us. However, the Word of God tells us to “consider your ways”. Are we headed in the wrong direction? Are we running in a direction that establishes our own righteousness? We have to be sure we haven’t turned away from the Word. God helps us recognize when we are missing the mark. He encourages us to turn from our disobedience and stay connected to Him. God helping His creation even in disobedience – now that’s GRACE!!

The grace of God is available to every born-again believer. In faith, and by grace, each of us can have assurance that the blessings and promises of God will be made manifest in our lives. But it will require that we are mindful of the limitations of our own abilities. It will require that we understand that the free gift of His unmerited favor empowers us to greatness in a world in desperate need of a Savior.

God wants His people to prosper -- physically, relationally, spiritually, financially. Too many in the body of Christ are too easily offended at the concept when, at its basic form, the word itself simply means to "fare well". If we are looking to God to bless us (and He does), then we are going to have to get our heads and hearts wrapped around the idea of also prospering in every area of life -- it's a package deal.

Do you know what it really means to trust God? Having trust in God requires a commitment to maintain complete confidence in Him and His Word, despite your circumstances, emotions, or your current situation. When a problem steals your peace, it is a good indicator that you might not trust God.

Born-again Believers have a covenant with God and are supposed to be positioned in life to be a blessing to others. In these last days, God will use the wealth of His servants to impact the lives of people all around the world. You must be permanently established in the blessings of God to arrive at the place He ordained for you. The blessing of God is the ability to have success in every area of your life. When God's blessing rests on you, it will transform your "average" existence into a life of overflow. Tithing is the key that will unlock the windows of heaven in your life and permanently establish you in the blessing...

God has given us specific tools to use to determine whether or not we are in the midst of a TRUE prophet. Contrary to popular belief, a false prophet is not someone who gives a bad prophetic word, but rather, is someone who has evil in his/her heart.

God still speaks to His people. But the ways and methods He chooses to do this may surprise even the more spiritually mature believers. God is speaking. Are you listening?

We have often heard people say, "God spoke to me and said…" All too often, however, Believers in the Church look upon statements like this in disbelief and with contempt.
