Welcome back to a very special episode of Geekishly Toku. We celebrate our 25th actual episode and co-host Shawn's one year anniversary, a bit early. We quickly run through the news after talking a bit too much about things to get to the meat of the Geek half of the show; our review of Netflix's Voltron: Legendary Defender. There we both geek out for a solid half hour or more and Shawn dishes out random facts about the previous iterations of the show and shows off how nerdy he really is, while Jon listens and is informed on silly bits of Voltron knowledge. Honestly the best part of this episode. Once we switched over to Toku we quickly wrap up what little news is there and try to remember what happened, I think friendship and cubes were involved? Then we take quite a bit to wrap up the show with more information and what's to come in the future. Until next time! So since summer is here the shows we watch have concluded for the summer and Shawn is working a job. So that means these following episodes are going to be even more sporadic than the usual ones. Now onto the good stuff. Originally it was going to be a light news week. But that changed and it was 45 minutes before we even began tackling the 3 DCTV season finales. Over on the Toku side of things even more news. Also Speedsters don't need to follow rules I guess. Welcome back to yet another out of time and outta sync episode of the Geekishly Toku Podcast. Shawn has been busy having exactly zero free time and that's why we are here now. Jon and Shawn dive head first into news especially about shoe outrage, followed by a DCTV recap of sorts, minus a certain emerald colored projectile, before Shawn falls into the void (again). In this installment of GTP Jon and Shawn get lost in waves of news and find themselves stranded in the Island of Digression. Fortunately they find their way out while discussing some DCTV and ranting about one particular show that rhymes with Sparrow. After they take a moment to recollect themselves more news discussions and tangents occur causing yet another trip to the Island of Digression. After that they discuss adults in rubber suits fighting other adults in rubber suits. That is until Shawn gets interrupted by his mom a few times. Welcome back, after some timeline mishaps Jon and Shawn reconvene a month later. News happened and tangents were made. TV shows were fanboyed over and one show in particular got ripped apart. And that was only the Geekishly part. Over on the Toku end more news and Dad jokes were made. More shows were talked about and more tangents. Due to our misadventures in time this episode sort of fell through the time cracks. After some digging we managed to salvage it. And no you're not going crazy, yes we did record this out of order. On this wacky installment of GTP Shawn and Jon talk about news from Marvel and then decide to take about a DC show after. Still doesn't make sense. Then over on Toku, we talk about MMPR movie news, Jon goes and gets pizza while Shawn reluctantly talks about the last episode of the Navarro family show guest starring the other Power Rangers. And we are back once again and on a regular schedule. Shawn is still alive after fighting sickness last week, and Jon is still dealing with obnoxious loud vehicles driving by him. This time around there wasn't too much news so we spent a lot of the time goofing off and geeking about TV shows with Shawn basically begging the CW to grab Constantine for something. Then over on the Toku side they talk Cubes and Ghosts and Cubical Ghosts before talking about 3, yes that's right 3, episodes of Dino Super Charge then sort of breezing through the Cube Sentai and Jacket Rider. Well after an actual unexpected unintended hiatus we are back with our first episode in 2016. After all Shawn was busy being "sick" and all. But now that he fell through a crack in his ceiling we finally get around to our live commentary of Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden 2 the Duke and Knuckle Experience. It's not called that? Oh my apologies. Everything seemed to be going well and then Jon experienced some difficulties a few times causing them change it up a bit.
