Brad (Shadowfire) really wanted to weigh in with his predictions of E3 2018, and I was all too happy to oblige. There's still some time left before the conferences start proper, so why not listen to us fumble around this leaky boat to discuss what we know about, what we think we know about, and what's just over the horizon? Nerdmas is almost here everyone, so get  your tinfoil trees nice and decorated!

Matt (Blue Map) joins me to catch up on the long, long, loooooong hiatus since-wait, it's only been how long? Wow. God of War is the new hotness, Earthbound is old hotness, and Battletech...sounds neat. Also, anyone remember Record of Lodoss War? It's a twofer this week as Brad (Shadowfire) and I discuss the latest Final Fantasy mobile offerings by Square, the declining joy of watching movies in the theater, and of course more Monster Hunter. We also weigh in on the current progress of Dragon Ball FighterZ and Final Fantasy XV (it won't go away!). 

We might be starting 2018 a little late, but everyone is still going nuts over the two monstrous releases that kicked off January...and Dissidia is fun too, so I talk about that as well. Beeb and Blue join me as I open up the podcast with a shocking revelation, and we discuss all things concerning Saiyans, Square, Street Fighter and....Celeste (it sounds like an S, so it counts). Also, Monster Hunter World is really good, you guys. So good.

Things may not have been so great in the real world, but in the virtual world...it was possibly the greatest year ever for videogames. Shadowfire, Beeb and Blue Map join me as we desperately try to whittle through the countless amount of excellent titles stuffed down our collective gullets in this two-part category breakdown of the best, and still pretty good, of 2017. 

2017's Game Awards and Playstation Experience have both wrapped up, and Blue Map and I weigh in on the winners and losers (for both the hosts and nominees). We also discuss some of the big announcements dropped in both events, from the new Death Stranding trailer to the revival of Soul Calibur. Speaking of revivals, we also talk about the resurrection of Mega Man and Valkyria Chronicles, while I've made a return to VR gaming while Blue Map....well, never actually left Rainbow Six Siege, but still plays it. 

Still reeling from that double dose of turkey eating and money spending? Why not rest your gluttonous bottom on the couch and listen to Somestickguy and I muse about the most recently concluded anime offerings as well as the current new hotness? 

Is there even any point in me saying how fantastic Super Mario Odyssey is? Blue Map and Beeb hear me rave about it anyway, in addition to the newly cracked and modded SNES Classic. I also regale the events that led to NeoGAF's downfall and Reset Era's birth from the ashes.

This recording may have been a bit more relavant three weeks ago when it was originally scheduled, but since we're all about discussing older games, there's a certain irony to be had, right? Right. Beeb joins me to talk about the SNES Classic, the hoops I had to leap through to find one, and the multitude of titles to drool over once the console gets modded (spoilers: it didn't take very long to mod it). 

After narrowly missing the destructive winds of Hurricane Irma, it's all sunshine and rainbows for ol' Snugglesworth....at least metaphorical rainbows. Blue Map joins me in an unfocused and casually disorganized episode where we discuss Rainbow Six: Siege, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, He-Man, Transformers, Thundercats, the latest Nintendo Direct and everything else under the sun. 

While thumbing my nose at the upcoming Hurricane Irma (and as you can see from this update, I brushed off that storm no problem...or is this an update from Ghost Snugglesworth? Wooooooo....), Stickguy is back to discuss another round of Anime. While jeering at the past with Kado: The Right Answer, we look toward the horizon with more optimistic entries like Made in Abyss. And of course there's some games to discuss as well, including the rising popularity of Yakuza in the West and its future incarnations.

Experience has proven that you could never put up enough warning signs for Game of Thrones spoilers, so pardon the excessive WARNINGS FOR GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS WHICH ARE IN HERE. Beeb and I have just finished Season 7 of Game of Thrones, and we take a look back at the long and bloody history of the series while predicting what's to come in the finale.(Note: There are Game of Thrones spoilers in this discussion about Game of Thrones spoilers spoilers spoilers SPOILERS)

While we wait for the closed beta for Dissidia NT to go live, Shadowfire and I spend an hour to talk about our not-so-secret obsession with Final Fantasy's mobile offerings. Many happy returns are here: Beeb is back after several episodes of abscene, Sonic is back to finally reclaim his status from that three dimensional imposter with the middling gameplay, and I have returned to feverishly obsessing over all things Final Fantasy...wait, wasn't I doing that already? Many current topics are discussed in today's podcast, ever late to the party but always fashionably punctual....now has anyone seen my pants?

EVO 2017 has wrapped up, and Blue Map and I are eager to talk about all the matches and reveals and....nah, we're too hyped over Dragon Ball Fighterz. Seriously though, we're also hyped about Kingdom Hearts III and the knowledge that videogames have finally, definitively reached the visuals of Toy Story.....1. Also I pad things with more Final Fantasy talk, while further shaking my head at the continued decisions made towards Sonic the Hedgehog.

A week late and a remake trailer short, E3 2017 still came and went, and we're eager (and totally not tired) to cover every single press conference, even if we can't remember every game that made a debut. What was our winner of E3 this year (hint: anime saves everything)? What was our loser (driving five miles for a super short Sony conference, perhaps)? Who gave out the most cringe (surprisingly, not Ubisoft) and who turned the most heads (Devolver made one explode at least)? Find out in our four man E3 coverage!

Nothing says "return from hiatus" like two back-to-back podcast episodes! Blue Map and Beeb join me for a couple of rounds talking about the latest fighting games from Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 to Tekken 7, while also letting our frustrations fly with the lackluster performance from the recent releases from Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed and Final Fantasy (Beeb's opinion, not mine). Also, E3 2017 is just a couple weeks away, so we also share our predictions with what to expect from this year's gamer christmas (the short version is we predict lots of games)!

It's been a busy 2017 for both Stickguy and me, but that doesn't mean we still can't enjoy the best mainstream anime currently running like Attack on Titan, as well as a few lesser-known but smarter titles like Kado: The Right Answer. Stickguy also shares his thoughts on NieR Automata (30 hours in...he's still at the "tutorial") while we begin with just the prologue to our E3 hype (more on that in the next episode).
