He and I are joined by Blue Map and Shadowfire as we talk about the latest (and possibly worst) trend Triple-A publishers are taking with their games, and whether a few months worth of patches are enough to turn over a game already meme'd and ridiculed by the internet. We also talk about the long-awaited Western launch of Persona 5....Atlus can't hold a copyright strike on podcasts, right? We also share our divisive thoughts on the new Power Rangers film and what constitutes a proper localization vs author intent....this episode is so chock-full of heated debates that we forget to take a break!

Blue Map and Beeb wash their tired faces (might as well run that meme while it's hot) to assure me that Mass Effect Andromeda totally isn't as bad as it looks....as long as you're focused on the multiplayer. Opinions become more united over the awesomeness of NieR: Automata and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. We also thought Logan was a pretty great movie too...only to get more divided over which X-Men films still hold up (ranging from "a couple" to "none"). Lots of cool-headed discussions over the hottest topics this week!

It's safe and cozy under this metaphorical blanket of videogames and anime, and Stickguy is all too eager to get under the sheets with me. Barely three months in and we're already drowning in must-have videogames, and there's barely any time left to prepare for Horizon, Zelda and Nier. In the meantime, we talk about some of our favorite shows that recently wrapped up as well as the surprise debuts of this year. Dragon maids, child soldiers, ghost husbands and bad guys who are secretly good guys, it's a house party that lasts all day and night, because who needs the hassle of the outdoors?

2017 has barely started, and already we are bombarded with great games a mile a minute. LockedOn returns to join me and Blue Map in a discussion covering the jam packed launch day of January 24th, 2017, while just barely reeling from the games released just a couple of weeks prior. Plus, learn just what lengths a Yoko Taro fan must suffer through in order to catch up on his multi-series, multi-console lore in preparation for Nier: Automata.

The Nintendo Switch conference has come and gone, and we've got some things to say about it. Beeb, Blue Map and Shadowfire join me in discussing Zelda's voice acting, Bowser's JoJo cosplay, Ribbon Girl's blossoming internet fame and the totally reasonable prices for the console, games and accessories. It's a new year in 2017, where nothing can possiblye go wrong. Whatever the future may hold, the South Figaro Podcast is here to reflect on the best and worst in videogames. Blue Map, Beeb and Shadowfire join me in continuing the discussion of our favorite (and most disappointing) 2016 games while also anticipating the jam packed first quarter of 2017.

If you covered all your windows, wrapped yourself in a blanket and stayed entirely within the world of videogames, 2016 was a pretty darn good year of only minor disappointments. Beeb, Blue Map and Shadowfire join me in part 1 of the SF Podcast's look back at 2016's best, brightest and bummers.

We've got a ticking time bomb of dogs and dinner, and we have too much material to cover in too little time. Blue Map is my solo guest tonight, as we do our best to condense our impressions of Final Fantasy XV and Pokemon Sun & Moon, respectively. Then we dive deep into the announcements from The Game Awards and Playstation Experience to talk Marvel, muscular razor men, HideoxGeoff, Del Toro vs Hannibal, and too many other things to list. There's no time, this dog's gonna blow!

Less than a month remains for Final Fantasy XV, and while World of Final Fantasy has made for a great appetizer, the hunger has not been satiated. In addition talking about adorable throwback to FF's best, Shadowfire and Blue Map share my anticipation for the franchise's future with the latest CG trailer. Also, Klonoa is back....in movie form?

October is a month where the dead come back to life, so it's only fitting this podcast would rise from its (temporary grave). Stickguy returns to inject new anime life, with a discussion of shows both past (Re: Zero, Thunderbolt Fantasy) and present (March Comes In Like A Lion, Occutic;Nine). Some future discussion occurs as well, as I just can't stop counting down to the upcoming Final Fantasy games, and also spend some brief time talking about the Playstation VR!

There's no way I would be late for my 100th episode celebration. Beeb and Shadowfire join in the fesitivities, as we weep for our wallets in light of the latest news about Sony's console upgrade. How many Ks are you willing to put down for the 4K gaming experience?

Two weeks late, but just in time for Labor Day! Stickguy joins me once again as we discuss the latest episodes of our favorite Anime....two weeks ago. Work, family matters and Overwatch have caused quite the delay in getting these episodes up, but I hope you continue to enjoy them, and I also hope to have the next one up in a timelier fashion.

The South Figaro Podcast is back, and ready to talk about outdated videogame topics! Jump back one week and pretend that the FFXV delay was still a rumor, or that No Man's Sky wasn't the most hated videogame on the planet. Beeb also chimes in with a love so strong for Pokemon it's virtually radioactive, and Blue Map takes his own unauthorized fan-made journey with Metroid II. Plus, a special "Where are they now?" segment on the cast of Tenchi Muyo!

Technical difficulties be damned, we will talk about anime tonight....at least until the technical difficulties stop us for good. Stickguy struggles through laptop errors and the horror of Audacity to talk about anime both past, present and future as we shift to a new Crunchyroll-sponsored season and wade through the trash in order to find the most promising shows.

There's a lot of hate going on in this episode. Shadowfire hates Star Ocean 5, I hate Batman v. Superman, and Beeb hates...following the crowd because he's actually got a game he really likes. We've got two jurpy JRPGs to discuss and one critical failure of a superhero movie, followed by the usual rants like FFXV marketing, out-of-context teaser trailers and the upcoming bloodbath that is the July Splatfest. All the notable coverage of E3 2016 takes place here, and without taking a billion hours to talk about it all!

Persona 5 may not reach the West until next year, but Stickguy has plenty of Anime keeping him busy until then. While we fire off a few opinions on some of the pre-E3 reveals, we also catch up on the shows we're following this season followed by a very lengthy talk about Hunter X Hunter and its infamous Chimera Ant arc. The morsels we're serving this week are so delicious, your stomach might just burst from excitement!

It's a week before E3 2016, and Beeb and Blue Map come along to share their very wrong predictions alongside my 100% accurate and never incorrect predictions. Also, Overwatch Overwatch Overwatch Overwatch and some other stuff that isn't Overwatch. Some game where you shoot undead monsters in the face. No, not that one, the other one.

I made sure there was enough hard drive space this time, because Stickguy has got a whole lot of new Anime to discuss in the latest Spoilercast! Listen in as we catch up on the latest shows this season, while I add another new series to my current rotation. Stickguy also experiences the joy and heartbreak of love with Snow White and the Red Hair, as well as a new excercise in self-loathing by suffering through Yona of the Dawn.

It's a week late, but still relevant, as we discuss the beta of Overwatch while preparing for the launch of Overwatch! Beeb and Blue Map are all in on Blizzard's upcoming Team Fortress+Waifu simulator, but I still air out my grievances (and competitive rage). Stickguy also joins us to confess about his latest anime addictions, followed by a slew of news-related discussi-oops, not enough hard drive space!
