What ultimately determines how we, the body of Christ, shall live?  Historically the final authority has been the Bible.  Yet the authenticity and authority of the holy scriptures have come under fire.  Many question whether the scriptures are the Word of God?  Brian Higbee explores this question in light of what Moses, David, Peter, and finally Jesus said about scripture.  

Ryan Bastress comes bearing the Word of the Lord for CityChurch and for those who can receive.  The Righteous Shall… is a Word exhorting the body of Christ to pursue righteousness as a condition as well as a call to action.  It is there you find the reward of the Lord.  

Ryan Bastress is recognized by CityChurch as a prophet of the Lord.  And when he comes to this portion of his extended spiritual family he carries a prophet’s reward—the Word of God that is now.  Today he released an impacting word.  Your fruit is based on the seed cast in your life.  And the seed cast in your life is determined by where you dwell.  

Faith, Hope, and Love are crucial elements to the believers life.  We talk about faith a lot.  As we do love.  But hope must be in place in the believers life to walk in the kingdom of God.  Brian Higbee talks about what is it?  How we get it?  Why it is not present at times?  Check it out.  

To work and not see the fruit of your labor can be difficult and discouraging.  Dr. Alan and Gail Hawkins have a very precise gift to the body of Christ of equipping and encouraging.  In this message they add a heavy dose of hope to those whosoever will.  

Dr. Alan and Gail Hawkins are especially important as powerfully equipping people to the body of Christ.  Their experience in founding and pastoring a wonderfully successful and impacting local church in Albuquerque, New Mexico has been a bedrock for Holy Spirits elevated ministry to seminaries,  schools, universities, and local churches.  Specifically, we have called on Alan and Gail to unpack revelation concerning an unheretofore menacing practice called deconstruction.   Although the intent of those embracing this practice would consider deconstruction healthy, the outworking, motivation, and end result is closer to demolition.  Alan and Gail talk about how we, as the local church and body of Christ, understand, navigate and minister to those caught in this practice.  

Jesus was given power and authority.  He then gave it to His disciples after commanding them to go into the world.  Brian Higbee discusses that as disciples of Jesus, that same appropriation of power and authority is ours as He commands us to go into the world.  

Where is the power and authority that was in the early church?  Didn't Jesus say we would do greater than He?  Where is the disconnect?  Why is it that we do not consistenly see the greater miracles and influence?  Brian Higbee takes a look deep into the heart of God to try and discover how we must transition to become who He needs us to be for this next season.  

We cast seed.  It is what we do.  With the words we speak, the acts that we engage, it will produce a harvest.  But what kind?  If I take a careful look at the harvest I am now reaping, is it good?  Brian Higbee talks about the seed you are casting on the field of your life.  Check it out.  

Although much in the Old Testament is a shadow, it gives us a pattern that helps us understand how we walk out pursuing the kingdom and His righteousness.  Solomon and the Temple he and Israel builds is a pattern from which we can learn; a pattern of sacrifice, obedience, and rule.  Check it out.  

Too often we find ourselves out of alignment with what God intends for our lives.  Yet, finding how to navigate back into alignment seems even more difficult.  Brian Higbee talks about getting back into alignment and how it is far easier than you may think.  Check it out.  

The command of the Lord was to go outside the dung gate to relieve yourself of your own dung.  That was a command not a suggestion.  Why?  Because God knew that even that part of life is crucial to get right.  Otherwise sickness, disease, and affliction affects you and yours.  What does this mean today?  Ryan Bastress unpacks this crucial truth.  Check it out.  

God never intended to limit His relationship with us to a building.  Yet we have built a religious industry around houses of worship...buildings.  Buildings are not bad.  But if they are the center of our walk with God we are in trouble.  Brian Higbee talks about how David found that out when David tried to build God a house.  Check it out.  

Being born-again is so central to who we, as Christians, are.  Yet how often do we explore?  Brian Higbee offers some thoughts about what Jesus meant about being born of water and Spirit.  

There is much evil (rebellion against God).  But do not fear.  All will respond to the rule of God.  It is inevitable, absolute, impossible to deny.  Does God allow a minute of rebellion?  Yes.  But only for purpose.  The overarching rule of God is unequivocally attached to the kingdom of God, which is inseparable from the person of God.  Brian Higbee talks about His will being done on earth as it is in heaven.  

The last verse in the Old Testament echoes for hundreds of years...and then Jesus.  What was that verse?  He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the sons and the hearts of the sons to the fathers.  Brian Higbee explains why God chose that verse to echo until Jesus came.  Check it out.  

The Old Testament is filled with sacrifice that attempts to make man right in God.  Yet it is only partial, temporary, less than perfect.  Jesus called us to imitate Him and be living sacrifices, Holy and acceptable to God.  In other words, the sacrifice that we we live is whole, complete, and purely dedicated to Him.  What happens when it is not?  We get all kinds of glitches in kingdom living.  Could that be why what God says our life should be is not always so?  Brian Higbee encourages rather than blame God for His incompleteness, we should look within.  Maybe there is a part of me not living as a sacrifice? This life in Christ seats us with our Lord at the hand of God.  Sin nor death have any grip in this place.  But what about when sin still grips?  Does that mean I am not in Christ?  Am I not a new creation?  Brian Higbee talks about the tabernacle as a type of life in Christ and what happens when you leave flesh off the altar.  Check it out.
