This text over the account of Matthias being chosen as the twelfth apostle, shows us that God works in and through many things in life to accomplish his purposes. The new message of Jesus intersects the "story of old" that had been passed down for generations. It's not a separate story but the next chapter in the same story. I John2:7-8 Correction: When Pastor Jeff gives the scripture at 15:25 he says Hebrews 11, the actual text is Romans 11. He also give a scripture at 15:30 that says Hebrews 8-11, the actual scripture is Romans 8-11.
