    On this episode of AGP we sit down with comic creator Thom Zahler. Thom Zahler is a northeast Ohio-based comic book artist and writer. He's particularly known for his romantic comedy comics. In 2006, he debuted Love and Capes, the superhero romantic comedy about the adventures in love of an ordinary bookstore owner and her accountant boyfriend who also happens to be the superhero The Crusader. And then in 2014 he introduced readers to Long Distance, a story about two young professionals who meet while stranded at an airport during a snowstorm and decide to date even though they both live in different states. He is also a frequent writer and artist for IDW's successful My Little Pony comics. Most recently, he brought Flutterbat back in comic book form. He has more stories coming up in 2016, as well. Zahler has written for the Disney XD cartoon, Spider-Man Web Warriors, where he wrote the first part of the season finale Contest of Champions. He is also a frequent contributor to the Topps Star Wars car

    On tonight's episode of AGP, we welcome back our friend Christina Blanch to the show.Christy Blanch is an educator, a comics scholar, a comic book store owner, and a comic book author. She began teaching college level Anthropology classes both in the university and in the correctional education system (aka prison). Taking her love of comic books into the classroom, she is currently finishing her doctorate and teaching subjects, such as gender, using comic books as the textbooks. She is teaching a massive open online course called Social Issues through Comics Books, a free course on canvas.net. She is co-owner of Aw Yeah Comics in Muncie, Indiana and co-writes the comic The Damnation of Charlie Wormwood on which highlights her experiences teaching in prison, and has moderated a panel with Princess Leia herself Carrie Fisher.     On this episode of AGP, I will be joined by comic creator Phil Machi. Phil Machi is a cartoonist and entertainer. In the comics community, he is best known for his strip "Retail Sunshine" and has just re-released the book "'Twas the Day After Turkey" featuring the characters from that series! He has been making comics since 1996 when he first introduced his long-running series "Livestock" to the world. Since then, his company of the same name, Livestock Productions has been the umbrella for numerous projects like the "Peter Meadowdale" comedies, "The Phil Show!" and most recently the pop-culture podcast "Nate Has an Hour to Phil." His works feature original characters and stories in a variety of mediums. This is due to his many interests in all things entertainment and continues to be a signature mark of Livestock Productions.
