    13/07/2021 Duración: 01h21min

Matt and Jeremy are back to preview the Air Force Falcons upcoming season. The Falcons offense is what it is with a run-option element as its highest priority and success. Air Force does lose its entire offensive line, including a pair of offensive lineman who were all-league players. The running game should be fine and led by Brad Roberts but there are some concerns. The offense does have some different weapons with tight end Kyle Patterson who could provide wrinkle. The turnbacks returning on defense, though, could make the difference for this team as there were many key players back. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Cowboys also decided on its quarterback with Sean Chambers who is back after an injury and missing the majority of the shortened 2020 season. The offense should be more open in the passing game and also one of the best running back units in the conference with Xazavian Valladay and Trey Smith toting the ball. • College Football Playoff Expansion Will Help Mountain West, SCOTUS Ruling, NIL Incoming

    27/06/2021 Duración: 01h22min

Jeremy and Matt are back to for a timely show during the offseason and mixed in a non-preview. This show has a lot to do with the off the field rulings within college sports, and mostly college football. The College Football Playoff expanding to 12 teams and including the top six conference champions as an automatic qualifier will help the Mountain West. One question asked was should the league reach out to BYU to join? They also discuss how the Supreme Court ruling about not capping educational expenses is opening the door for other issues with the NCAA which would basically smack down its amateurism model. Also, the get into Name, Image, Likeness which is coming soon. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • 2021 Colorado State Football Preview

    23/06/2021 Duración: 01h22min

Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the 2021 Colorado State football season. 2020 was basically a "whatever" season in which they played just four games with a 1-3 record. It is hard to take too much from Steve Addazio's first year due to the lack of games. There is a lot of potential on the defensive side of the ball and it could be one of the better units in the conference. The offense has some concerns with the lack of running game from last year and an offensive line that returns nearly everyone back it was not good last year. QB play could have issues with Todd Centenio who has been a career backup and when he played last year was not accurate and just overall was below average. Learn more about your ad choices. • 2021 Boise State Football Preview

    18/06/2021 Duración: 01h27min

Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the upcoming 2021 Boise State football season. The Broncos have a few things for new head coach Andy Avalos to figure out. Such as who will be the starting quarterback between Jack Sears and Hank Bachmeier and finding a few more wide receivers. Assuming George Holani is healthy, the running game should be fine, and the offensive line is really good. Defensively it is an area that lost a handful of starters but they still have plenty of talent to be a top three defensive unit. The interesting thing will be how will Avalos elevate that unit. • 2021 Utah State Football Preview

    08/06/2021 Duración: 01h25min

Jeremy and Matt are back for another team preview as we march toward the 2021 Mountain West football season. This team is Utah State and they have a whole lot of questions but also could be the most intriguing team in the league. They have a new head coach in Blake Anderson who came over from Arkansas State and he is bringing over a few of his former players like QB Logan Bonner and LB Justin Rice to play for the Aggies. There is potential at the wide receiving group that is deep and also the running game could be more solidified with just a regular spring and fall camp. The defensive line needs a lot of work to help an already decent linebacking group. The range of outcomes for this team in the column could vary wildly. Learn more about your ad choices. • 2021 San Diego State Football Preview

    01/06/2021 Duración: 01h19min

Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the 2021 San Diego State football season. A few of the big questions for the Aztecs are who will play at quarterback since there are currently three options in Lucas Johnson and Jordon Brookshire and newcomer Jalen Mayden. The competition will go through fall camp before a starter is named. The hope is that the ground game will return to form with Greg Bell fully healthy and overall if the offense can be just a bit better it will help the team overall. The defense does replace some talent in the secondary with NFL departures but it should be business as usual with the next guy stepping up. Learn more about your ad choices. • 2021 Nevada Football Preview

    24/05/2021 Duración: 01h41min

Jeremy and Matt are here to begin the journey to previewing the 2021 Mountain West college football season. The first team were are previewing is the Nevada Wolf Pack as chosen by our twitter followers. The Wolf Pack are expected to have a really good year with the majority of its team back and led by its offense of QB Carson Strong, WR Romeo Doubs, RB Toa Taua and a whole lot more. The defense showed improvement from 2019 to 2020 and if that can improve a little bit more then this team has the potential to be an elite college football team. The two go through the position groups and try to find their weaknesses, as there are few and far between. They go through the schedule which is not going to be easy with the road slate being very tough with games at Cal, Kansas State, Boise State, Colorado State, San Diego State and Fresno State. Plus, the West Division is just going to be tough. If the Wolf Pack are going to do have a special season, they will have earned it with this slate. Learn more about your ad cho

  • Mountain West Football spring football wrap up

    10/05/2021 Duración: 01h12min

Jeremy and Matt are back to recap the final Mountain West spring football games. Those teams are mostly from the West Division which include UNLV, San Diego State, Fresno State, San Jose State, plus Hawaii. They also get into Wyoming's spring game and look at their positives and negatives from the teams that are finishing up spring football. There are a lot of positives to take from spring, and that is usually the case, but it is true for most of the teams. Nevada and Fresno State are fine tuning their game plan, Hawaii looks to have an improved defense and also Calvin Turner will be a household name with his do-everything play style on offense. Wyoming is deep on both sides of the ball but needs to figure out its quarterback who will actually be slinging the ball a lot this year,. UNLV still has a ways to go but there are some signs of life and improvement to be competitive out West. San Diego State also needs to settle on a quarterback and if they can figure out who it is and they show up well, then the Azt

    04/05/2021 Duración: 01h09min

  • Reviewing Mountain West Transfers; plus relating Super League to college basketball

    21/04/2021 Duración: 01h08min

Andy and Jeremy are back to talk some college basketball. The duo start off talking about how the (likely now defunct) Super League in Europe mimics a lot how college conferences work with the rich getting richer. There is a huge disparity between power leagues and non-power leagues in how much revenue they get, but these teams that make eight-figures per year in a media rights deal to six-figure deals all play for the same title. We do get to some Mountain West talk and go over teams that made some moves in the portal and specifically the teams with new coaches like Utah State, New Mexico and UNLV. All of who have lost a lot of players but also are bringing in a lot of talent. Plus, the transfer portal and the new one-time transfer rule is discussed. Learn more about your ad choices. • 2021 NCAA Tournament Preview: Can San Diego State, Utah State advance?

    17/03/2021 Duración: 01h09min

Andy and Jeremy are back to preview San Diego State vs. Syracuse and Utah State vs. Texas Tech as they look to advance in the NCAA Tournament. The Aztecs are a slight favorite and the Aggies are a slight underdog. Neither team is a sure thing to win or lose which should make these matchups some good ones on Friday of the tournament. San Diego State has been on a hot streak with not losing since mid-January and they have the shooting to bust the Syracuse zone. Utah State has the best player on the court in Neemias Queta and he has the size over all of Texas Tech, and that mismatch is a reason to seriously consider taking Utah State to win.
