We spend plenty of time discussing everything that happened in the Duke game - turnovers, four guard lineups, two big lineups, Marcus Garrett's usage, and even some positives we saw from the Champions Classic game. Other than Kansas, the Big 12 had a flawless opening week. In the season preview episode of Inside the Paint, the three of us recap the festivities at Late Night in the Phog - from Snoop Dogg to strip poles - and the reputation of the university following a national run of stories on the subject. We also preview the start of the college basketball season, from Big 12 predictions to 40 prop bets to how far we think the Jayhawks will go this season. The season starts on Thursday, and we're ready for what should be a thrilling season of Kansas basketball!

It was an excellent week for Kansas basketball, as Bill Self scored two commits to re-load his Jayhawks to 12 scholarship players. Now firmly locked into preseason top-five status, Kansas looks ready to make another national championship push in 2019-20. Former cohost Daniel Cunningham returns for season seven as a regular member to discuss just how good KU could be this year, all of the different lineups they can run, and what weaknesses may still remain on this team. Also, we review the schedule for 2019-20, review through some sharpshooters that have burned KU in years past, and talk about the impending Adidas probe.

The Jayhawks got some great news this month when Udoka Azubuike, Devon Dotson, and Silvio De Sousa were all confirmed to be coming back for the 2019-20 season. They missed out on some recruits, but they came out in a decent position relative to where we thought the offseason might be headed. Next up: with the roster still incomplete, we look at some pieces KU could look to add as it heads into its first offseason not being defending Big 12 champions in over a decade. Also, we review the prop bets we made before the season started and laugh at how miserable of future-tellers we all were.

We're ready to recap a wild offseason thus far for Kansas basketball, as transfers and NBA decisions have zapped the Jayhawks' roster in half. We discuss the panic going around that KU's 2019-20 roster will be bare, lacking, and underwhelming. Will the Jayhawks be ok next year? We talk about it. Also included: NCAA tournament late round recap, a recap of the RCB bracket pool, why Quentin Grimes leaving KU might be a good thing for the Jayhawks, and some names that we can hope will be in crimson and blue next year.
