    In this extended writing diary, you can follow me every step of the way as I write a 75k-word book. I was writing Her Last Cry, the second book in a trilogy of psychological thrillers. My general rate of progress is 3 chapters/5k first-draft words each writing day. It takes me 17 x working days to write the first draft of the book. You can follow the entire process here, day by day and hour by hour. The book was written between Wednesday 11th January 2023 - Tuesday 21st February 2023.
