All In: 4th Soil People - Audio
14/10/2019 Duración: 46minJesus invited people to come to him, asking them, “Are you with me or not? Are you in or out?” More importantly, Jesus looked for those who were “All In!” What does it mean to be “All In”? In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus tells us the answer, plus examples of what it is not: 1. Hard-hearted (v.15) In a spiritual battle; put on the armor of God. (Ephesians 6:12-13) 2. Superficial (v.16-17) Abide in Jesus; practice spiritual disciplines. (John 15:5) 3. Divided (v.18-19) Let go of other “masters.” (Matthew 6:24) 4. “All In” (v.20) Good trees produce lots of good fruit; be a “good tree.” (Genesis 1:28, Matthew 7:17-20) What do 4th soil people look like? Know any? Reflection: Are you “All In: 4th Soil People”?

Bring a Friend to Jesus - Audio
22/09/2019 Duración: 44minWhy? 1. We all suffer some sort of “paralysis” that we can’t always cure by ourselves. (v.3) 2. Friends go the extra mile if they really care. (v.4-5a) 3. a. Although impossible by others to do, Jesus can free us from our paralysis. (v.5b-11) b. And that’s worth shouting to the whole wide world: “This is Jesus Territory!” (v.12) Challenge: We Christ-followers have freedom in Christ. So go and bring a friend to Jesus who can help them too.

(v.18, 21) Jesus warns us in Parable of Rich Fool. (Luke 12:15-21) Jesus gives us new way of thinking. (Matthew 6:19-21) 2. Stressing about work does no good. (v.23) Don’t worry! Be happy, because God has you covered. (Matthew 6:31-34) 3. Can’t truly enjoy life unless you enjoy God. (v.24-25) Joy comes from God! (John 15:11, Romans 14:17) 4. Conclusion: Pleasing yourself is a dead end! Pleasing God has eternal reward! (v.26) How to be good in the eyes of God?
