Whether traveling or at a shopping mall we have approached or been approached by a random person for directions. This question applies not just for navigating streets but also in life. Like “Do you know the way to get into a top 10 college?” “Do you know the way to parent better?” And even in the Bible, people asked, “Do you know the way to eternal life?” Jesus said, “I am the Way.” Join us this Sunday as we conclude our series “This is the Way!” based on 1 John. The Truth...Nothing But the Truth - Audio
04/06/2023 Duración: 30min“You can’t have your cake and eat it too.” This popular proverb literally means “you cannot retain possession of a cake and eat it, too.” Once the cake is eaten, it’s gone forever. Another way to say this is “you can’t have it both ways.” In the early church, many early believers were treating their newfound faith in this fashion, where popular culture and false teaching were undermining Jesus’ way. That as long as my thinking was good, my behavior was no big deal; as long as my spiritual soul was good, the sins of my earthly body did not matter. The Apostle John in his letter, 1 John, warned the early church of this kind of bifurcated thinking. Today Christians can still be susceptible to this wrong kind of living. Sound doctrine goes hand and hand with sound lifestyle. Come explore together 1 John and see how Jesus wants us to be. This is the Way!

God's Blueprint for Salvation - Audio
26/03/2023 Duración: 40minOne of the most important aspects in a relationship is to understand each other's intentions. God's reasoning to build the Tabernacle was to dwell among His people. And the only place that God will meet with His people was in the person of Jesus Christ at the "Mercy Seat" - God's Blueprint for 'Salvation!' God carfully drew up the design to commune with mankind becasue the blood of the sacrifices were sprinkled upon (Hilasterion) symbolizing Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life. In today's message by becoming a transformed people of God, we are to not only remember and but to respond to the deeper meaning of the "Mercy Seat" God's intention for salvation to the World!

God's Blueprint for a Stiff Neck - Audio
19/03/2023 Duración: 38minIn 1968, Frank Sinatra recorded one of the most iconic songs in America, "I Did It My Way" demonstrating he wanted to do life his way! The children of Israel after only a few weeks of the Exodus were struggling with the idea of an "Invisible God." They experienced the 10 plagues, saw the miracles as they crossed the Red Sea, experienced the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire, but when God seemed silent, just like Sinatra's song, they wanted religion their way. They built the golden calf. God hurries Moses down from Mt. Sinai to tell the Israelites that they were a bunch of "stiff-necked people!"

God's Blueprint: "In Our Image" - Audio
12/03/2023 Duración: 33minMany of us have a “love-hate” relationship with rules. Try to imagine the world without them. Life would be so crazy and chaotic. But honestly speaking, sometimes we feel rules restrict our freedom and fun. Who hasn’t thought this at one time or another? “Rules are made to be broken.” This week we will explore Exodus 20 and see the Ten Commandments that God gave the Israelites. The Ten Commandments are more than a list of do’s and don’ts, but about a loving God giving His people an identity. God’s Blueprint for Transformation is to honor Him and the dignity of humans who are made “in our image”. “I, the Lord your God…..showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.” (Exodus 20:5-6)

God's Blueprint: "I (We) Do!" - Audio
05/03/2023 Duración: 30minBelieve it or not, God has a purpose for us. When a couple fall in love and decide to get married, they often pledge to be together “till death do we part.” After the ceremony the married couple begins a lifelong sharing of a common purpose. Likewise God loves us dearly and wants to share His purpose with us. This week in our sermon series God’s Blueprint for Transformation, God told Moses what He wanted for the Israelites in Exodus 19. This Sunday come and hear what God wants for us to be His transformed people. Like the Israelites, like a wedding couple, will you be able to say, “I do”? “Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession.” (Exodus 19:5)
