Isaiah 40:1-11 - The Lord spoke through Isaiah to bring hope the God's people of all generations.

The Lord used circumstances in Hosea's life to teach him about the value of intimate love relationships. Then the Lord used Hosea to communicate His desire to walk with us in a real relationship. This message culminates with Hosea 6:6 and Jesus' use of this passage.

The Lord used a common man to deliver a harsh message. In the end however, God promises to raise up a new "Israel" through His Son. This message surveys the larger prophecy of Amos, then focuses on the message of deliverence in Amos 9:11-15

The Lord sent Jonah to deliver His warning of judgement to the Ninevites. In his disobedience Jonah displayed his contempt for the very people whom God created and loved. This message examines the primary point of the book of Jonah as delivered by God at the end of its final chapter.

The Edomites, Esau's descendants had mistreated Judah, especially when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians in 586 B.C. The coming Day of the Lord would bring judgment upon the nations that had mistreated God's people and salvation and restoration to His covenant people.

1 Kings 11 Solomon makes poor decisions concnerning the women he married. In doing so Solomon reveals the true nature of his heart in which he loves these women and holds fast to them. God's command was to walk with him because these women would turn Solomon's heart away, and they did. When we follow God's commands it Protects us and Preserves our walk with Him.

2 Chronicles 9 During a time of distress and disillusion the chronicler reminds God's people to recognize the wisdom of God, rest in the provision of God, and retell the Glory of God.

Exodus 19 To walk with God we must be consecrated unto Him. He is the goal of life.

Ecclesiastes 3 As we live our lives here on the earth we recognize the different seasons of life we live through and see how important it is that we take time to acknowledge the Son of God and not the things under the Sun.

Proverbs 15:31-33 We need to fear the Lord and yield to His instruction. God's Word tells us that those who do so will be "at home among the wise".

Psalms 119:9-16 lays out steps to prepare a believer to face the temptations that we face from day to day. As we read through the scripture, it becomes evident that it is not just a matter of following these steps that will keep our ways pure, but a growing relationship with our Father. As we grow in our relationship with him and continue in obedience our ways will be kept pure.

2 Chronicles 1: Solomon could have requested anything this world has to offer from God, but humbly chooses Wisdom to lead God's people.

Psalm 143 - David understands that his life rest in the Lord's care. He cries out for new life from his God. This is an evening message in The BIBLE Alive 365 as we walk through the bible chronologically.

2 Samual 11 & Psalm 51 - David's greatest failure came in his personal life in his adulterous relationship with a married woman. Psalms 133:1 "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!" David saw unity as good, pleasant, valuable, and refreshing. It is something that strengthens and brings life. In the book of John, Jesus prayed for his disciples and all those that would come to believe through their message that they would live together in unity so that the world would know the truth of who He is.
