2 Sam 5 - As we reflect on what it means to be God's kind of man, we find many clues in the life of David. This is the fourth in an eight part series entitled, God's King: The Story of David.

Psa 16 & Acts 2:22-41 - This Easter message is taken from the messianic Psalm written by David. This passage was used by Peter in his sermon at pentecost when he preached on the resurrection. This is the third in an eight part series entitled, God's King: The Story of David.

1 Sam 13 & 15 - Early in Saul's reign, the LORD rejected his role as king over Israel. This message examines the root sin of Saul's heart that leads to this rejection. This is an evening message in The BIBLE Alive 365 as we walk through the Bible chronologically.

1 Sam 16:1-13 - This is the story of David's anointing as the future king of Israel. The story is build around the statement from God, "for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart" found in verse seven. Ruth - The book of Ruth tell an incredible story of God's work in the life of Ruth and her mother-in-law, Naomi. Ultimately, it is the beginning of King David's story. God providentially prepares the way for the king who would be described as "a man after God's own heart." This is the first in an eight part series entitled, God's King: The Story of David.

Joshua 21:43-45 - The LORD is a promise keeping God. The passage points out that every word that comes from the Lord's mouth is fulfilled. This is the final message in a series titled The Promise Keeping God.

From Genesis to Deuteronomy, the law points to Jesus. To reject Jesus is to be left with the only the law, which was never given as an end in and of itself.This is an evening message in The BIBLE Alive 365 as we walk through the bible chronologically.

Deut 18 - In Deuteronomy 18 Moses foretold of a Prophet God would send to His people. The voice of this Prophet was to be heard and heeded over all the other competing voices of this world. This is the tenth in a series titled The Promise Keeping God.

Deuteronomy 7 - As God tells the Israelites to go into seven nations to posess the land, God reminds them to keep their eyes on Him. The people in the land may be bigger and may be stronger, but how much bigger and stronger is our God. Rather than focusing on our circumstances in life that seem bigger than us, we are reminded to keep our eyes on God, who is bigger than everything we could possibly face.

Deut 6 - We are challenged to love the Lord God with all our heart, soul and strength. This is the passage from which Jesus quoted The Greatest Commandment. This is the ninth in a series titled The Promise Keeping God.

Numbers 22 Here we find the curious story of a Balaam and the talking donkey. This message explores the biblical lessos that can be gleen from the strange story of this false prophet and his encounter with God. This is an evening message in The BIBLE Alive 365 as we walk through the Bible chronologically.

Num 21:4-9 After the people had turned against the Lord, He sent snakes into their camp as punishment. When the people repented, God provided a way for them to avoid the consequence of their sin, which was death. If they would look with faith upon the bronze serpent lifted up on Moses' staff they would be healed. Jesus referred to this story as an indication of how He would die for our sin. This is the eigth in a series titled The Promise Keeping God.

Num 9:15-23 The crucial distinguishing characteristic of God's people is to be a relationship with Him. His presence is the key to victory, hope, peace & empowering. This is an evening message in The BIBLE Alive 365 as we walk through the Bible chronologically.

Leviticus 26. We live in a society and culture that says, "It's all about me." But, as we examine scripture it becomes quite evident that it's not about me, at all. It's all about God. Rather than being obedient as a mean to get something from God, our obedience should simply come out of a recognition of who God is and what He has already given to us. This is the Sunday morning message as well as the final message for our youth group's Disciple Now weekend.

Lev 17:1-7 We need to worship the God who loves us and stop giving our worship to worthless things. This is an evening message in The BIBLE Alive 365 as we walk through the bible chronologically.

Lev 16 The Day of Atonement is outlined by the Lord in Leviticus 16. Also know as Yom Kippur, this is the day that atonement was made for all the sins of the people by the High Priest. This passage has clear connections to the sacrifice that Christ made for our sins as attested by the NT book of Hebrews. This is the sixth in a series titled The Promise Keeping God.

Exodus 34:29-35; 33:18-23 - "When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD." This is an evening message in The BIBLE Alive 365 as we walk through the bible chronologically.

Exodus 32:20-35 God's people become impatient and compromise faith by making and worshipping the golden calf. This is the fifth in a series titled The Promise Keeping God. (Due to a technical error the recording begins in the middle of this message.)

Exodus 16 The plagues that God brought upon the Egyptian people during the time of Moses have a striking similarity to the plagues in Revelation. Exodus 12 - God executes the final plague on the Egyptians as He delivers the Israelites from oppression. He gives them a way to remember and celebrate His great deliverance with the passover feast and ceremony.
