Jesus came that we would be Made Whole – body, soul and spirit. Our spirit is renewed when we surrender to Jesus, and it becomes united to His Spirit. Our soul is continually renewed as we yield to our spirit rather than temptations. Too often we fall for the trap that we need to be better or do more to be considered holy, but it is not something we earn by willpower or specific actions.
