Never a dull moment with the gloriously passionate Zig as he guides Team AOTP on a recap of his adventures with Penn State alums and administrators who, quite frankly, don't deserve his talents; his unusual yet very special relationship with fellow advocate for truth Franco Harris; and a unique encounter with future NBA star Dikembe Mutumbo while both attended Georgetown.

Novelist David Morrell graces Team AOTP with his encyclopedic cinematic and literary brain, breaking down a few of his most famous novels -- "First Blood," "Creepers," "The Brotherhood of the Rose" -- and their on-screen adaptations, as well as pointing out how he hopes to inspire young men and women with heroes and heroic mindsets in his work. We also took some fun sidetracks into a shared love of 35 and 70mm film prints, and how much he enjoyed his foray into writing for comic books, notably penning a memorably feral issue of "Wolverine."

Society Reviews' Jacob Smith stops by to drop words of wisdom on Hollywood's movie-making machine. Disney, fake-wokesters, and hypocritical celebs (but we repeat ourselves) all land in Jacob's sites, though he sees the successes of Top Gun: Maverick and TV's "Reacher" as glimmers of hope amongst the self-destruction. He also picks Star Wars over Indiana Jones as the franchise worthy of setting on the path to redemption. With no apologies (or royalties) to Ice Cube, Wicket, man. Wicket.

Second time a charm welcoming Vandoliers' Josh Fleming to AOTP, and bless his sober heart for a jam-packed 34 minutes. Befitting the show's -- and his band's -- eclectic nature, we ran the gamut from Texas acts' predilections for songs involving booze to the wistful nostalgia behind one of Josh's first Americana-minded tunes. Too much fun with a guy who effortlessly flowed from fronting punk bands into the equally raucous Vandoliers, the conversation gloriously threw nods to NOFX, Flogging Molly, Johnny Cash, Blink 182, Lucero, Old 97's, and, yes, even Taylor Swift and Hanson. It's All Over the Place, folks. It's what we do. 

Multi-preneneur Brad Weisman stops by AOTP to fill us in on the origins and expansion of his Media Pub Live site -- for the finest and funniest in fake news -- as well as discuss what keeps his business ventures firmly grounded in altruistic goals.

Close but not quite as Josh unfortunately had to reschedule. As we await the new livestream recording date, guest-co-host (and AOTP veteran) Nick Boor from AZ's Vinyl Record Dude, Jim, and Eric serve as Vandoliers hype-men while also discussing favorite outdoor venues.

Team AOTP welcomed our first international guest this week, and musician Mark Daly rocked! From his youngest days as a lad soaking in the sounds (and perhaps an occasional sip of some adult beverages) of the Irish pubs through his recently wrapped tour with his band The Ravens opening for Queensryche legend Geoff Tate, Mark informs us about his songwriting process at home and on the road, capturing his more aggressive live sound on his latest recordings, connecting with his autistic son through the power of music, and much, much more.

"Night Court" returns to the airwaves ... and so does "Quantam Leap" (but for how much longer?) ... and on and on and on with reboots. When will the recycling and/or re-visitations with multi-culti casts end? Should they end as long as the writers produce quality scripts? Either way, difficult to resist the summertime return of Timothy Olyphant as Raylan Givens in "Justified: City Primeval."

Jim and Eric steer the AOTP ship minus Marty this week, mourning the passing of guitarist Jeff Beck before waxing poetic about the pathetic Golden Globes, ratings and content. Hollywood also takes it on the chin, Creed- and Rocky-style, for their apparent identity-bias with Kumail Nanjiani, who's been bemoaning his peers' reluctance to allow him to play villains. C'mon, Kumail, get in line. The left in its utter hypocrisy can't bring itself to paint President Biden as a villain, even with his very bald-faced past indiscretions with classified documents.

Team AOTP looks ahead to 2023 -- The Rose Bowl! Oppenheimer! Red Rocks! AOTP on Spotify! -- before listing some favorites from '22 -- Tulsa King! Van Morrison! Top Gun Maverick! -- and paying tribute to friends who sadly left us this year. Jim also lays down a phee-flippin'-nomenal analysis of the *only* Indiana Jones adventures worth watching. We're still only getting warmed up, folks, and be sure to keep listening (and occasionally watching) in the coming year!!!

Longtime listener, occasional caller, friend, and now semi-regular co-host, Marty Zamora joins Jim and Eric -- and we also welcome new producer Christine -- as Team AOTP launches into a Mach II phase of funsanity and pseudo-seriousness. Planned attempts to truncate the show's run-time unfortunately failed, but once the boys started going off on the midterms, Black Panther - Woke-anda Forever, and society's disappointing descent into reversing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream of a color-blind world, well, 60ish minutes it was once again. However, we did end on an upbeat set of notes, spring-boarding off Eric's recent attendance at a concert celebrating the music of David Bowie, as we imagined other potential legends whose legacies would be well served by musicians playing a traveling tribute.

  Jack Skellington and Fright Night's Charlie Brewster but two of the Halloween movie favorites discussed on the back-from-near-death return of All Over the Place. Super-fan Marty Zamora paid a visit, too, and made us all the wiser to the recent attack on Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi's husband, peeling back the many, many layers of coincidences leading up the most infamous hammer attack since Mario smashed barrels on his way up the ladder to foil Donkey Kong.

  Award-winning illust-writer Bosch Fawstin helped Jim and Eric take AOTP... to the nth degree, waxing on movies, comic books -- including getting his "Pigman" graphic novels to the big-screen -- and the unfortunate post-9/11 backslide into apathy against Islam's jihad.
