Having taken a couple of weeks off, to refresh the batteries and enjoy some family time, it was great to be back and in the studio doing what I love most.   Enjoy this set, where I played funky house and a bit of disco house, too. Fast and furious, with 32 tracks played in only 90 minutes.   Next week will have the same feel, but less tracks so we can all relax a bit......hahah Love from Lars x

It was an honour for us this week to welcome the wizard that is James Wilson to the FunkySX stable.  James is an astonishingly accomplished DJ, Producer, Sound Engineer and has been using his skills to teach others at the London Sound Academy when he's not running his Hackney record shop "Shrubs and Dubs" or studying towards more sound engineering & production qualifications.  James has a phenomenal following, and his YouTube channel shows his multi deck multi platform mixing in all its glory.   If you ever get a chance to see him mix out live, definitely go because he'll blow your mind.

As a community of DJs, we all support each other.  So, when cover was needed on this glorious Sunshine Sunday, I jumped at the chance to play this one and fill it with sunshine, soulful, classic, vocal house vibes to make you smile, tap your feet, kick back and enjoy the music. Hopefully you all like it also. It's all about the funky!!!

Another week on FunkySX and we have had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the phenomenal Brazilian DJ Dayane Leanddro.  She's played some of London's best venues, Amsterdam, Paris, Ski resorts, pop ups, all over Europe and Brazil also.  The brilliant sounds she brought to FunkySX were all from Brazilian producers and certainly brought the funky vibes. Hope you guys like the show as much as we enjoyed having Dayane as a guest.... It's all about the Funky!

We had the honour of welcoming in Mr Dan Tait this week.  Long term friend of Lars, this 'coach' to the star DJs has a phenomenal track record himself.  DJing back in Ibiza in the 1990s, holding a long term residency at Pacha, setting up and playing on multiple radio stations on the White Isle, playing almost every club in London, designing and developing some of the industry standard equipment with PioneerDJ, running the artist side of PioneerDJ Europe, flying around the world to interview stars and DJs whom he's coached and worked with, training new DJs and being an all-round nice fella.   Dan played out some funky tracks to fit with the Funky vibes our Lars plays, and absolutely brought the house down.  It'll be an honour to have him back but, in the meantime, enjoy this show, enjoy it again and tell all your friends about it so they can enjoy it as well......

This weekend, the UK celebrates 70 years of HM The Queen reigning as monarch and parties are "popping up" all over the country.  FunkySX is no exception and this is the soundtrack to Lars Delfstein's very own party in the studio......enjoy

I had the privilege of caretaking the Casa while the man, Lee Capone, was on his jollydays.  Two hours of Friday night bonkers with a little bit of Lars gloriousness thrown in for good measure.  Hopefully this will get you ready for the weekend.....

We had the honour of welcoming the other half of the Raving Frog / Sun of a Beach crew to the show this week. BRDY is another phenomenal DJ and very talented promoter putting on some of the best events in Essex and SouthEast of the UK. His musical tastes are very much all about the Funky which is why we loved having him on the show.

To continue the guests series on my FunkySX show, this week we had the privilege of hosting house music promoter and legendary Essex DJ, Cronelli, to the station.  Bringing a brilliant set of funky house and disco to the show.  Hope you like it as much as we did....after all, it's all about the Funky

This week was the turn of El Deanyo. A phenomenal DJ from the South of the UK who plays out regularly in London, Essex, Kent, Sussex and Surrey. Producer, DJ and Events promoter, El Deanyo brings his own vibe to the funkySX airwaves, backed up by a little bit of Lars to boot.

The brilliant 'Butcher Boys' came to visit this week at FunkySX towers and played a phenomenal 30 mins set at the end of my show. This is the full show and it was brilliant. Thank you to Chris, Blake and Harrison for coming along. Funky SX and I'm back from vacation.  Wow, I'd been looking forward to this show, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Hopefully you do also.  It's all about the funky........ Stay tuned because from next week we'll be introducing a 30 mins guest mix each week from some phenomenal DJs in the industry.
