Shannon Bagley is a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi. She is a passionate community leader, volunteer, and loving mother. She was a featured speaker for A Time with Him Conference and her local Made Known event. She also appeared in an interview for the Teens of Purpose social media column, as well as a guest on KGI radio and Sunday Morning Magazine radio. Shannon’s ambitions include changing lives for God's kingdom, community activism and helping others see their worth and potential through the eyes of our Father. Shannon hopes to continue to instill hope in people through the love of Jesus Christ. 

We are happy to welcome back Dr. John Tolson as our speaker this month. John has reached 1+ million men through a ministry he founded called “The Gathering”, and he started one of the first team chaplain programs in the NBA (his personal record is 127 straight free throws!). John has served several professional sport teams including the Houston Rockets, Houston Astros, Houston Oilers (now Houston Texans), Orlando Magic and most recently the Dallas Cowboys while also being called upon by major corporations to keynote conferences and seminars. To date, John has published two books, namely “Take a Knee”, which is a motivational book based upon the locker room messages he gave to the Dallas Cowboys, and “The Four Priorities”. Come hear John’s powerful faith story!  John is married to Punky Tolson and is the father of two grown children and three grandchildren.  He received his Master of Divinity from Columbia and his Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Sino Agueze is the Lead Pastor of the 6:33 Movement - a movement geared toward awakening the nations to a true biblical move of God through prayer small groups, prayer campmeetings and prayer conventions around the world. Fabian Grech was born and grew up in Malta.  At the age of 20, he attended Ministry School in the U.S.A., where he graduated with an Associate Degree in Practical Ministry.  Fabian has worked with multiple ministries in the U.S.A. for the last 14 years. He has preached the gospel in evangelistic crusades overseas, churches, Youth Gatherings, and equipped believers for the work of the ministry in over 20 countries.   Fabian and his wife, Carol, have been married for 15 years and have two children - Micah and Evangeline. He and his family moved to Iraq in 2012 with another family to establish a House of Prayer and a Ministry School to raise up local leaders to lead and pastor their own people. Fabian directs the Mesopotamia House of Prayer and co-leads the overall ministry work in Iraq. Based only 50 miles away from where ISIS set up their headquarters in Iraq, Fabian and his team are seeing Muslims from Iraq, Iran and Syria turning to Jesus and raised up as leaders who are reaching other Muslims for Jesus!  Fa

John Gooch gave his heart and life to JESUS CHRIST at the age of 27. He fell in love with GOD’S PRECIOUS WORD. His heart’s desire is to spread the GOOD NEWS of GOD’S WORD, especially to those who are beaten down by the trials of life.  John’s message is one of hope and encouragement that we know you will be greatly inspired by!

Louis resides in Franklin, Tennessee with his family and is an entrepreneur who has spent most of his career in branding and marketing. Committed to bringing ideas to life, Upkins has worked with some of the largest names in a variety of industries, across the board, from large sports and entertainment outlets and personalities to Fortune 500 companies and celebrities. He is the founder of “Leadership Sports”, which marries the worlds of the professional athletes to the corporate space, and currently serves on the advisory boards of the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, NASBA, YMCA Of Middle Tennessee, 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee, Leadership Middle Tennessee and New Hope Academy. In 2007, Upkins served as the Co-Chairman of the highly successful Luis Palau Nashville Cityfest, where 100,000+ learned about the love of Jesus.

Jamie Rasberry, a Senior Partner of Corporate Social Responsibility for Tivity Health, leads global efforts to address rural aging and social isolation issues. For over 10 years, she has been involved with local and international missions, sharing the gospel and bringing encouragement to those in despair.  In 2014, she purchased a dilapidated home in midtown Jackson and began an 18 month renovation project so the house could be used as a beacon of hope in the community. To Jamie, ministry means completely immersing oneself into dark places so light can best shine.

CJ Stewart is a combat-wounded veteran of the 101st Airborne Division. In 2010, while serving as a medic on a deployment that would earn the famed "Strike Brigade", CJ was nearly killed during a gunfight by an enemy-fired rocket when insurgents attacked his combat outpost. Following 41 surgeries and an 18 month recovery at Walter Reed Hospital, CJ was medically retired at age 22. CJ’s life was forever changed, both physically and spiritually. As the Founder and Executive Director of Camp Down Range, CJ is now helping thousands of teenagers to complete impossible physical challenges and overcome adversity, not only on the obstacle course, but also in everyday life.

Nick is the Founder and Chief Communicator for PULSE, as well as, author of the Reset and visionary behind Together 2016. In July, 2017, Nick was also named the President and CEO of the Mission America Coalition, one of the nation’s most significant conveners of Christian leaders and organizations focused upon evangelism and discipleship. Nick’s passion is to “awaken culture to the reality of Jesus.” Since 2006, Nick has shared the Gospel with more than three million students at PULSE and partnership events around the world.  Nick is married to his best friend, Tiffany.  They live in Minneapolis, MN and are proud parents of 2 children - Truett and Ruby. 

Bill Buckley was a high school All-American football player at Starkville High School. As a receiver at Mississippi State University, he was First Team All-SEC, led the SEC in receiving for 2 years, and was drafted by the New York Jets. He is a member of the 2017 Mississippi State University Sports Hall of Fame. He has coached high school and college football for many years.  Bill joined the staff of the Mississippi Fellowship of Christian Athletes and served 8 years at Mississippi State University as Football Chaplain under former Coach Dan Mullen. He is currently the State Director for Mississippi FCA. He and his wife. Mary. have 3 children and 11 grandchildren.

In 2017, D. Michael Hurst, Jr. was sworn in as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi by U.S. District Judge Daniel P. Jordan in Jackson, Mississippi. Hurst was nominated by President Donald J. Trump on June 29, 2017, and was unanimously confirmed by the Senate on October 3, 2017.  Hurst most recently served as the Director of the Mississippi Justice Institute ("MJI"), a division of the Mississippi Center for Public Policy. Before starting MJI, he was the Republican nominee for Mississippi Attorney General in 2015. From 2006 until February 2015, Hurst served as an Assistant United States Attorney within the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Jackson, where he focused primarily on fighting public corruption. He received numerous awards from the Department of Justice, Homeland Security, and other federal law enforcement agencies. Author and speaker, Ryan “Birdman” Parrott, served eight years as a U.S. Navy SEAL and completed three combat tours to Iraq. In 2005, while manning a gun in enemy territory, his vehicle was hit by an explosive devise, causing a flash fire that resulted in first and second degree burns to his face and body. While he recovered from his burns, Parrott’s fellow soldiers suffered lifelong injuries. In an effort to help, after his retirement from the military, Ryan established Sons of the Flag to assist burn survivors and their families in finding the help and medical attention they deserve.

Tyson Lee is from Columbus, Mississippi, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class earning a Football and Academic Scholarship. In the Spring of 2008, Tyson walked onto the football team at Mississippi State University. In May, 2010, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Degree in Education.  In May, 2012, Tyson attended Graduate School at Mississippi State University earning a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration. After Graduate School, Tyson moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he was an Scouting Assistant in the NFL for the St. Louis Rams.  He later moved back to Starkville working full time with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In May, 2016, he began working in the Bulldog Club.  Tyson and his wife, Christa, are the owners of “LoveLee Rolls” and currently live in Starkville with their 2 sons, Zeke & Beck, and they are expecting a daughter in January, 2018.

Stephen is the Founder and President of SDJ Investment Co., LLC.  He is an entrepreneur and investor who has an demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, creating operational excellence and establishing market leadership with his companies.  Also, Stephen is lead investor and a Producer in the major motion picture “Same Kind of Different As Me”, which is set to be released October 20, 2017.  A good part of this movie was filmed in the Jackson Metro Area!

Ret. Col. West is a War Hero who served 22 years in the U.S. Army and was a former Florida Congressman.  He is a Fox News Contributor and Christian Conservation. 

Lester is a graduate of Jackson State University, with a degree in Industrial Arts Education. He lettered four years in Varsity Football as a center at JSU and was signed with the Oakland Raiders in 1980. After an injury prevented him from playing for the Raiders, Lester began his career as a teacher and coach. He has coached at all levels, from junior high to senior college, for 17 years. Prior to his work with FCA, he coached at Carson Newman College for 12 years. Currently, Lester is serving with FCA as the Jackson Inner City Area Representative and Area Director of District 7.  Lester is married and has two children.
