In the very first sermon in the history of the church, the Apostle Peter’s words pierced the hearts of the people, and they said, “What do we do?” His reply is the essence of what we’re to do with the gospel today, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Be saved from this corrupt generation” (Acts 2:37,38,40). Ron will explain baptism and why God includes it in the be-saved package. In Part 12 of our series Game Changers, Steve looks at 5 ways to reform to God's way of doing things. We all want to be successful in our walk with Christ, so knowing how to reform ourselves into the image of Christ is important. Steve takes a look at how the Bible and its knowledge which lies there within can benefit a believer as they strive to please God and people.

In Revelation 2-3 Jesus initiated 7 letters to 7 specific churches. This would’ve been within 50-60 years after His death and resurrection. Jesus selected these churches knowing they would give insight into preparing the future Church. Within these 7 letters Jesus makes clear what life is all about. God defines Christianity as all about an authentic relationship with Him and learning to love Him with everything. Wes Martin digs into these seven letters and explains how we can live the life God wants us to live for Him.

With new reports coming out from governments around the world, there has been a lot of questions about claims of UFO sightings and encounters. Are we truly alone in the universe? Are these sightings real, and are they something to be concerned about? Grace’s own chapter of Reasons to Believe meets with Dr. Hugh Ross as he seeks to address these questions and more.

This week Steve takes some lessons the kids will learn at our Vacation Bible School and teaches one important lesson about trust. Steve zeros in on one particular story in the Bible, which finds Paul and the ship's crew being shipwrecked. Paul tried to tell them not to sail, but was overruled by the majority. When the situation got out of control, Paul tells them to TRUST God and do what He says; and if they do, none of them would perish. Trust is something everyone struggles with because everyone has had a trust broken. We must learn to trust God, because even though others let us down, God never lets us down.

Dr. Hugh Ross shares his own personal story, dealing with autism and discovering the Gospel. His message reveals the ways in which God has equipped all of us for good works, not just in spite of our weaknesses, but through them.

Dr. Hugh Ross wraps up this conference weekend by focusing in on some of the most common questions raised by unbelieving scientists. His message encourages us all to look deeper to uncover the profound reasons why the universe is the way it is and how its design ties into God’s ultimate plan of salvation for all mankind.

This week Steve takes a look at one of the most famous stories in the Bible. Almost everyone has heard of the story of David and Goliath. We all have Goliath's in our lives and we need to choose to take on this battle and not be afraid. God has prepared His children for every battle they will face and He has promised to be with us every step of the way. God uses our life experiences to help us overcome all obstacles we face. Always try to remember what God has already done in your life and use those experiences to win the battles you will face. Always listen to God first and trust Him when he guides you into battle.

This weekend, Ron and Wes sit down with guest speaker, Luis Cataldo, as he shares with us his own unique journey from his home in Chile, to pastoring a church in Virginia, to the daunting world of political engagement. This week Steve takes a look at reconciliation. We all have a need to be reconciled to our creator God Almighty. God provides us with an avenue to seek reconciliation through his son Jesus Christ. Once we have been reconciled to God we can then work on being reconciled with other people. Since we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, we all need to be reconciled to one another as well. We continue to allow God to transform us so we can be ambassadors for Christ.

This week Steve again examines the life of Moses. Moses was very overworked and stressed because of all the people needing him for everything. I bet you can relate in this day and age we live in! Moses father-in-law suggests that Moses should empower the people and let others begin to do the work Moses has been doing. Moses humbles himself and asks for help (this is a great lesson for all of us to learn and implement) from the people by appointing judges. The lessons learned this week will definitely help us in our lives today.

Ron adds another layer to what it means to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength…how we can love Him by being faithful witnesses to Christ’s message.

Gary Hinrich discusses the importance of the new creation. We all are born into a sinful nature, but God's plan is not for us to stay living in that sinful nature. God has a plan, through his son Jesus Christ, to make us whole and new again. Gary goes into deep conversation about how one can be transformed and begin their journey with God. He looks at some promises God has for believers and shows us how we can be overcomers and not live a life of fear.

God wants us to love Him with all of our personality and every ounce of our strength. It’s what we were made for. Pursuing Jesus in this world with wholehearted devotion will take us on the adventure He has planned for us in this life and prepare us for the next.

This week Steve takes another look at the life of Elijah and how he was burned out. We discover that God never leaves us and always makes provisions for us along our way. We also see that God has a road map for us when we are weary and ready to give up. Steve provides us methods to overcome the times in our lives when we grow tired and weary. Our story of Elijah also shows us how one day we can be on top of the mountain and the next we are in a low valley. Even though this happens to all of us, God always values us as his children and waits to help restore us throughout our lifetime.
