2 Corinthians 4:7-10As Christians, we have a light that dwells within us. This light is comparable to treasure, it is beyond comparison and immeasurably glorious. Unfortunately, we too often hide that light. We let our pride and fear of weakness contain it. In 2 Corinthians the Apostle Paul is not afraid to let go of fear and to let God be his strength in time of weakness so that his light be on display for all to see! In 1908 only 14% of all deaths occurred in an institution but by 2000 it is nearly 80%. The past century also led to many people denying even talking about death. How can we learn to see death as the completion of a well-lived life? What would it take for your friend to see death as a transition to glory? We all have memories of the times when we've been hurt - someone lied to us or about us - someone betrayed us - someone cheated on us - someone abused us.
