On Finding the Funny this month, we covered stand-up comedian Geroge Carlin. Anyone familiar with him will remember his infamous monologue "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" (this, of course, back in 1972). We looked into Carlin's life until his death in 2008; a man widely regarded as one of the most important and influential stand-up comedians and placed second on the Comedy Central list of the 100 greatest stand-up comedians, ahead of Lenny Bruce and behind Richard Pryor. 

This month, we spoke to Australia's funniest Vietnamese comedian, Hung Le. From the fall of Saigon and the plight of Vietnamese boat people, these make for some of Hung Le's comedy repertoire.

This month, we are taking a look at Richard Pryor, a groundbreaking African-American comedian and one of the top entertainers of the 1970s and '80s. His blunt, blue and brilliant comedic confrontations confidently tackled what many stand-up comics before him deemed too shocking to broach. 

In this episode of Finding the Funny, we spoke to radio personality and actor, Patrick Teoh. The man behind the 'Voice of Malaysia' is a storyteller like no other. This includes tales of his first encounter with Playboy magazine to landing himself 'just another job' at a radio station. A career in media and entertainment that spans over four decades, we found out about his childhood in Ipoh and the transition from life behind the microphone to acting for stage, television and film. 

The world was bereft of laughter when news of Robin William’s passing was confirmed last August 2014. The Evening Edition took a look at the legacy he had left behind and why it’s difficult for everyone to bid the lovely star goodbye.
