It's another two-person podcast as Eva Friedman returns to sit in for an absent Kayla. The previous episode got too Chris Evans-heavy, so we had to bring on someone who was utterly unphased by his helicopter-curling. Rather than the Chris Evans Corner, we remodel to make space for the Ryan Gosling Room as Tyler can't get over how much he loved The Nice Guys. Eva vouches for the brilliant, #toofemale Wynonna Earp and Unreal, while Tyler makes the case for letting some Catastrophe in their heart. Kayla and Tyler sit-down without a guest to have the biggest Chris Evans Corner yet: a discussion of Captain America: Civil War. Ben Rettinhouse rejoins the podcast! Kayla is out this week, allowing Ben and Tyler to go over what didn't quite work in Batman v. Superman. There might be a fair few things, and they've been eating at this week's hosts. For the main review, they dive into a much better film: the Awards-laden comedy-biopic Amadeus. One of the most oft-forgotten best picture winners, Amadeus boasts a tremendous pair of performances at its core, helping make this 3-hour marathon feel much shorter than most movies meeting that description.
