Bryce is an Australian-born composer, and it would be fair to say, he’s an eclectic musician! He's worked across all sorts of genres in tv, film and gaming, including comedies, documentary and drama. He’s composed songs, written scores & orchestration, and worked as a session and touring musician for Australian artists including Josh Pyke and Genevieve Maynard, and international artists such as Sophie B. Hawkins. However, it was in film & tv composing he really discovered his passion. Moving to LA, he joined Hans Zimmer's legendary Remote Control Productions. There he worked on working closely with Grammy and Emmy Nominated composer Ramin Djawadi, and contributed to tv, film and games such as ‘Clash of the Titans’, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides', ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, ‘Rush’

Kris has been described as "one of the freshest voices in jazz", and started learning piano almost as soon as he could reach the keys! He attended to famed music school Juilliard gaining undergraduate and Master's degrees, making a name for himself as an incredible jazz musician in NYC, which led to him appearing on Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative album, 'Watch the Throne'. On top of his performing work, Kris is also a hugely talented composer. He has gained acclaim for his work on numerous documentaries, and won an Emmy for the soundtrack to animated feature 'The Snowy Day'. His latest project saw him compose the original score for Netflix’s brilliant ‘Dear White People’,  a satirical comedy/drama which follows the experiences of Black students the fictional Ivy League ‘Winchester University’. Normal service is resumed on the show this week, as we have the return of our TV Editor Andrew to the co-host chair and a very timely interview with Joseph Mallozzi, writer and co-creator of the brilliant Syfy show 'Dark Matter'! He's the Academy Award winning, makeup and special makeup designer of Logan, Joel Harlow! Joel is one of the most innovative makeup and special makeup artists and designers in film today. His CV is frankly, ridiculous, from aging (and de-aging) Hugh Jackman and shaving Stephen Merchant for Logan, to creating makeup for aliens in the Star Trek movies, to working with Johnny Depp on pretty much all of his more recent films, including the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He's worked with Spielberg on A.I., Chris Nolan on Inception, The Wachowskis on The Matrix movies, and Ron Howard on The Grinch. For those of you into your heavy metal, you might know Alec from his days with the California band Deadsy. Keesha is an LA based actress, who you may have seen as Dale Cochran in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Sheila in Everybody Hates Chris, Monica in Girlfriends, or Gigi in Are We There Yet? Her latest role is playing Trish Murtaugh, wife of the iconic character Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans), on the new tv adaptation of the classic Lethal Weapon franchise. On the show this week we not only bring you all the latest tv/film news and recommendations for shows to watch next week on tv, but we also dive into the magical world of Lev Grossman's The Magicians, as we chat to the author about the book, and season 2 of the TV series. Lev in a NYC based novelist and journalist, who released his first novel, Warp, in 1997, and his second Codex, in 2004 which became an international bestseller. However, it’s his work on The Magicians, which was published in 2009, that shot him into the stratosphere, becoming a New York Times bestseller and one of the New Yorker's best books of the year.
