Today is a very special day on our calendars. This day is entirely devoted to our moms. It is the day to honor and give thanks to these ladies whose work is never done. Jesus Himself teaches us the importance of mothers. While on the cross, going through all that pain and suffering, Jesus reveals to us something so vital. John 19:28 NKJV After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scriptures might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!" Let us celebrate together every mother amongst us today. Exodus 4:1-2 AKJV We all carry something that can be utilized by God. Sometimes because of insecurities and lack of faith, we think that what we have is worthless. what we feel to be insignificant, God has a way of using and making significant, as evidence of His glory in our lives. The secret, God shows us what he is capable of when "the rod" is in his hands, and show us what we are capable of doing if we trust in Him. let God use what you have, and entrust it to His hands so he can use you.

In most of Paul's writings to the early church he reminded and encouraged the believers to be aware of how you live your life before others. It seemed to the Apostle Paul that we must be clothed in the fruit of the Holy Spirit just as much as in the power of the Holy Spirit. Doug examines Colossians 3:12 - 17, and the valuable insight that it brings to us as Christians as we commit ourselves daily in following Christ. I believe a lost generation is waiting to see followers of Christ who actually carry the heart of Christ to those they encounter!

In the book of Genesis we see the Father establishing a loving relationship, not a burdensome religion. We must be ready to see beyond our tent, the tents of comfort, complacency, fear, and stagnation. Our biggest set back is our inability to move beyond our boundaries. Well here is our challenge. God cannot fill what has not been prepared for increase. We must enlarge our hearts, minds, and faith to believe God for more.

"As we have heard so consistently from so many voices in 2018 saying the same thing, we each have to ask ourselves the question, 'Have I done all I can to position myself to cross over into the bigger thing God has for me?' Jesus is knocking on the door of our lives (Rev 3:20), asking us to let go of our ways. Let us open our hearts and minds to Him and His ways, letting go of the way we did things in our own strength.
