JEANIE BUSS is one of the main owners and president of the Los Angeles Lakers, one of the 10 most valuable sports franchises in the world. Buss is the daughter of the late Dr. Jerry Buss, a real estate investor who bought the Lakers and other sports businesses when Jeanie was a teenager. At the age of 19, she started in the family business as general manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team.
