  • PSTS Episode 59

    31/07/2013 Duración: 56min

Jeff and J.D. have been playing two very different (and only a little old) games about the undead, and are basically frothing at the mouth to tell you and each other why they can't get them out of their minds. Afterwards we'll have a short break with snacks followed by an explanation of this whole deal with Phil Fish, and why it's so confusing and difficult to conclude on. Plus some news from Nintendo's account managers, speculation on if even announcing DLC for Bioshock Infinite counts as a spoiler, and more.

  • PSTS Episode 58

    24/07/2013 Duración: 56min

Some things have actually managed to happen this past week, so prepare for an information shotgun to the ears. The Earthbound virtual console rerelease has us roaring and ready to share secrets of it, both about the experience playing this classic SNES game and exactly what genius was behind most of its programming. Jeff has finally stepped into the impossible game that is Dark Souls, while JD is finding umbrage, at last, with ZombiU. We have news on the first Saints Row IV DLC, word on Pikmin 3, and a couple of different opinions and friendly discussions on speedruns.

  • PSTS Episode 57

    17/07/2013 Duración: 31min

Alright, let's see here. Simcity devs are... doing something. EVO 2013 happened. And a couple of things have been announced about XBox One that we already knew about? That's it? That's all you're giving me? Well you can also turn in to hear just how Japanese Project X Zone is, what Jeff thinks about Alan Wake now that he's making his way through it, and how badly J.D. wants to... wants to watch Breaking Bad. Seriously, wow. Nothing to talk about.

  • PSTS Episode 56

    10/07/2013 Duración: 55min

Nintendo has not been winning over the public lately with many of their responses to inquiries, and this week proves no different, or at least didn't for a time. Jeff and J.D. discuss the meaning of EVO13 streams almost being cancelled, as well as the reason Ubisoft is disappointed in the Wii U, Microsoft and EA's potential price hikes for our friends over the pond, and, most importantly, controllers and their comfortableness.

  • PSTS Episode 55

    03/07/2013 Duración: 45min

As the furor after E3 results in everyone and everything slowly winding down, we're left in the dust as to what to talk about. The head of the Xbox One division left Microsoft? EA announces they're trying something crazy and new with Origin? Metroid Prime was... was a really good game? Sit and listen while Jeff and J.D. discuss all of these really, really important and news-worthy things on this dead and dull week in gaming.

  • PSTS Episode 54

    26/06/2013 Duración: 01h09min

We've had a week off and there has been a lot of things going on in the meantime, and we mean besides just us playing the summer away with more games. The Xbox One has made some surprising (or not-so) turnarounds in policy since E3, the Ouya has finally been released, and our personal favorite Kickstarter is coming to a close. But first, just how much can we talk about the new Animal Crossing? It might be a record.

  • PSTS Episode 53

    12/06/2013 Duración: 01h30min

Thereisn'tmuchtimeseriouslysomuchstufftogooverjustgettheheckinhearasJeffandJ.D.breakdowneverythingfromE3(plus, some slower talk about how great the new Animal Crossing is!)

  • PSTS Episode 52

    06/06/2013 Duración: 01h15min

Whew, that's a long title, but we have a slightly-long podcast here for you! Ranging from all sorts of things you should know (like if Gunpoint is fun), things you need to know (like if you should kickstart A Hat in Time), things you aught to know by now (like how weird Microsoft is being about the Xbox One), and things you probably want to know (like a complete schedule of big things happening in just a week's time at E3). If any of that sounds appealing, then, by all means, listen! Heck, if it doesn't. Our voices are that sweet.

  • PSTS Episode 51

    29/05/2013 Duración: 01h03min

It has been absolute rumor-central out there on the internets for the past week due to the Xbone reveal, and today Jeff and J.D. do their best to straighten out exactly what the rumors are saying, and how much of them may or may not be truthful. Before they can get to that, though, there are a few definite announcements, such as the new Sonic game trailer, a Gunpoint release date, and how hard it is to get into creating content for games once you have a real job.

  • PSTS Episode 50

    22/05/2013 Duración: 01h10min

With the large announcement yesterday from Microsoft, we'll be spending a huge portion of today's podcast going over the details Microsoft did and did not include in their announcement of their brand-new console. And there is a lot! But besides that, there was an unexpected Nintendo Direct last week dealing with new Wii U releases, as well as a flurry of confusing statements that we sort out for you regarding the issue everyone really cares about: who is voicing Batman.

  • PSTS Episode 49

    15/05/2013 Duración: 01h02min

Okay, we've finally hit the dam that these summaries have been prophesying for a few months, and there is probably going to be no more "real" news until E3 (apart from some tiny conference Microsoft is holding), so today Jeff and JD will treat your ears to the best they can offer you: discussion on games already come out, a few tiny, dumb announcements, and, based on a rumor that may be true, a discussion on one of their favorite games of the sixth generation.

  • PSTS Episode 48

    08/05/2013 Duración: 01h01min

The fifteenth marks the official anniversary of our first podcast, so today we thought we would offer a tiny retrospective on one year of podcasting, YouTubing, and making, generally, a menace 2 society. But first we have a bit of talking on the addictive nature of the Rayman Legends Challenge App, a discussion on the official announcement and preview of TellTale's The Wolf Among Us, a few more tiny rumors before Microsoft reveals Xbox Next, and all the rest, basically.

  • PSTS Episode 47

    02/05/2013 Duración: 01h02min

While there aren't really many game-release announcements this week, instead we were hit with a flurry of trailers and teasers for a number of games that Jeff and JD are excited for! We'll sum them up for you while discussing Monaco and Poker Night 2, voice actors and Batman, and why GTA protagonists sometimes make Jeff sad.

  • PSTS Episode 46

    24/04/2013 Duración: 56min

While it seems our podcast has turned into Nintendo Direct central lately, this is simply a fact of the times. Nintendo's got to run out of announcements by E3, surely. There's simply a limit. Until then, we have a new Zelda to discuss, Virtual Console releases, and Reggie to make fun of. There's also the new Metal Gear collection coming out, a few indie games to keep an eye on, and probably more non-Nintendo stuff. We swear!

  • PSTS Episode 45

    17/04/2013 Duración: 55min

The news either pours or it trickles, folks, and this week you'll have to put up with a lot more silliness and stupidity from Jeff and JD than actual news. However, they do have a fun retrospective on the forgotten Bond game (for Gamecube!), a couple of smaller announcements including the future of the Need for Speed and Fallout franchises, and some trivia JD has been absolutely dying to divulge to everyone: Captain Falcon's full name. Gasp you should!

  • PSTS Episode 44

    10/04/2013 Duración: 01h31s

A trumpet heralded an announcement from on-high last week as Disney announced that they would be massively downsizing one of the more legendary gaming dynasties, a fact Jeff and JD are happy to help walk you through. Also just announced is the newest Batman game, mysteriously not made by Rocksteady as usual, and what we hope to see in it. Plus: sound design, non-April Fools' jokes, a stupid mill sound! It's a full episode today, folks, so tune in.

  • PSTS Episode 43

    03/04/2013 Duración: 59min

This week, PSTS fans, we bring you a veritable feast of news and stupid commentary! Starting off with a long discussion of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, despite our heroes only having played it for a few more hours, then changing into a discussion on punishing game as a whole, we follow up with a story on how cool a new free-to-play game sometimes is, what the heck's happening in Metal Gear Solid V, and the bits of the Deus Ex: Human Revolution rerelease that aren't part of an April Fools' joke. It's morphin' time!

  • PSTS Episode 42

    27/03/2013 Duración: 46min

Today's episode marks Jeff and JD's first collaborative semi-review in a long time: a look at the brand-new Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U. After we poke and prod at the very shallow steps they've taken into the extremely expansive game, there are a few announcements about the new Borderlands 2 DLC, a gameplay video for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows to slaver over, and a sweet announcement about some completely remade nostalgia.

  • PSTS Episode 41

    20/03/2013 Duración: 42min

It has been a slow week, with only a few pieces of news that you've undoubtedly had run into the ground right now. Would you believe that SimCity has had more problems? That more negative things are suspected of the new Xbox? That Jeff and JD are anticipating playing Monster Hunter 3 later today? But wait, today is yesterday, because of the futuuuuuure!

  • PSTS Episode 40

    13/03/2013 Duración: 57min

It's been a full week since SimCity 2013 has come out, and that means a lot of drama and interesting news from that front for us to reveal to you, along with all of the lovely drama that comes with the release of the first Tropes vs. Women episode. We also have Jeff and JD's opinions on the surprisingly intense Halo Workout, annoyances at how freaking hard the original Kid Icarus is, and some healthy love for Joe Pesci.
