  • PSTS Episode 225

    18/01/2017 Duración: 01h20min

Despite being locked in two different parts of the city, Jeff and J.D. are here to tell you everything you need to know about the Nintendo Switch, whether revealed at the presentation last week or popped up in the meantime. And there's a lot (as always). Other than Switch AGDQ just ended with a new record high, and some weird developers are still adding major content for free to a game that came out two years ago. Come on, guys, what's the point?

  • PSTS Episode 224

    11/01/2017 Duración: 01h01min

Nintendo is finally having their tell-all on their new console this Thursday night, meaning all of these Switch rumors can be laid to rest. No, it probably does NOT hand-make Bagel Bites right on your TV, and it probably does not cost $556 plus s/h. Jeff's been plucking at a new instrument that was not designed for Rock Band, though, and J.D. has stepped back into post-apocalyptic New York City, so maybe their tales can entertain you while you wait to turn it over and hit it.

  • PSTS Episode 223

    04/01/2017 Duración: 01h04min

Not to say that there's nothing happening this year! A lot is. Probably an entire twelve months' worth. Just not right now. Instead, Jeff and J.D. will give you a half-dozen reviews of everything they managed to play in their week off, along with even more contradicting Switch stuff and a couple of good expectations.

  • PSTS Episode 222

    21/12/2016 Duración: 01h15min

There are literally three news items today, paving the way for the topic that's probably been pounded into your mind by every other media outlet: J.D. and Jeff's personal games of the year. But before that "big announcement" you'll need to hear what's up with Let It Die, if Nintendo's new console's leaked specs mean anything, and what the heck the deal is with Tracer from Overwatch to make everyone freak out. She's gay. That's all. Spoiler alert.

  • PSTS Episode 221

    14/12/2016 Duración: 01h15min

When there isn't really any news, the internet community has only a few choices on what to be upset about. This week, it's all a matter of time: the announcement on the Switch (early, for Europeans), the day Yooka-Laylee comes out on Wii U (never), the length of time before chest hair is properly modelled (too long). Jeff and J.D. will educate you, and explain plans for a Planet of the Apes adventure game.

  • PSTS Episode 220

    07/12/2016 Duración: 01h15min

Last week Jeff and J.D. talked up the Game Awards and stuff that would be shown at it; this week they break it down. Reveals! Winners! Things that make you cry! Then, immediately after, PSX showed up out of the blue, as it usually does, bringing with it even more game announcements the duo weren't expecting. What were they doing? Playing dumb adventure games? Well, sure. There's that, too.

  • PSTS Episode 219

    30/11/2016 Duración: 01h14min

In just one day the 2016 Game Awards will be broadcast all over the world, including China. This alone is making Jeff and J.D. anxious for picking their favorite games of this year. Is it Watch_Dogs 2, in Jeff's opinion? You'll have to listen to find out. Plus: Zelda things both Majora and Wild, some interesting Switch stuff, and if that one guy in the background of the Ezio Collection was always that weird looking.

  • PSTS Episode 218

    16/11/2016 Duración: 50min

What's really surprising is that, no matter the news or games they've played, Jeff and J.D. manage to talk for any period of time about video games. This week? User-generated content and if "hard" is "good"; an unexpected controversy in Watch Dogs 2; what "Spring 2017" exactly means. See! Tons of stuff.

  • PSTS Episode 217

    09/11/2016 Duración: 01h09min

Completely ignoring any and all political happenings, Jeff and J.D. are here to talk video games. And there are choice offerings! New Mass Effect trailers and fact announcements. Some Forza Horizon 3 and Until Dawn talk. Maybe, if you're nice, discussion on season passes and first day patches. Please accept this offering.

  • PSTS Episode 216

    02/11/2016 Duración: 01h03min

Last week heralded the controversial re-release of one of the most popular games of 2011--and Jeff has spent some intimate time with it, ready to give you the deets on the differences. They are few. J.D., meanwhile, has spent most of his entire life analyzing and re-analyzing the differences between Mario64 and Banjo-Kazooie, and has some insights there. News, you say? Well, the Switch came out. Oh, wait, no, that was, like, two weeks ago. Well, maybe rumors will suffice.

  • PSTS Episode 215

    26/10/2016 Duración: 01h31min

Last week your boys were struck by sensational news: the new Nintendo console had a name that matched a nearly-perfect Will Smith song. In this podcast they'll break down the trailer, confirmed stats and things that are still up in the air, plus provide all the flavorful commentary you need. Not enough news? How about a strike that can affect game releases from the acting corner? An extra-long cast for your extra-long butt.

  • PSTS Episode 214

    19/10/2016 Duración: 54min

Halloween is just around the corner! It doesn't mean much for video game news, but it does mean it's time to play scary games, so Jeff and J.D. spent last weekend doing what they do best: getting others to play P.T. News-wise we mostly have upcoming game announcements, in the form of two long-awaited sequels, but also talks about what the PSVR needs to do, if Blizzcon matters, and, well, a tangent about Hulu.

  • PSTS Episode 213

    12/10/2016 Duración: 54min

With another slow news week behind them, Jeff and J.D. turn instead to that which troubles them: bits and bobs from Recore that has made them meditate upon life and aging, for instance, or if there's a reason why games based on movies are known for sucking.

  • PSTS Episode 212

    05/10/2016 Duración: 01h07min

This podcast features several news items that happened in the past week. It also has more feedback from J.D.'s ever-evolving opinion of ReCore and some first impressions of Until Dawn, the spooktacular game your boys are playing this year. Also, Mario's age is discussed.

  • PSTS Episode 211

    21/09/2016 Duración: 01h03min

Jeff has a hard time making up his mind on if he enjoys the Witcher series or not. In this episode, we're back on the green side of the fence, but who knows how long he'll stay? J.D. is there, too, this time about bizarrely-controversial game ReCore, which, despite its faults, he has a lot of positive comments on. Meanwhile your duo finally saw the live Zelda orchestra, researched the new Metal Gear Survival game, and, overall, are ready to talk your ears to death.

  • PSTS Episode 210

    14/09/2016 Duración: 54min

With Tokyo Game Show going on, you'd think that's where all of the news is. Well, you're wrong: everything actually exciting was announced last week, from the new PS4 models to Nintendo's latest mobile venture. Meanwhile, Bioware has some sort of MAss Effect contest that your boys are hoping to cash in on with their sweet, sweet voices.

  • PSTS Episode 209

    07/09/2016 Duración: 01h03min

Somehow Nintendo manages to squeeze a billion-and-a-half announcements into one thirty-minute video, but Jeff and J.D. are here to talk about the surprises and snores in the Nintendo 3DS Direct. Plus we have more thoughts on Jet Force Gemini, a revival of an old fantasy not-so-favorite, and a quick re-re-re-review of Bloodborne's DLC.

  • PSTS Episode 208

    31/08/2016 Duración: 01h03min

Jeff has been poking at the new Deus Ex's various sidequests and hidey-holes over the past week and is anxious to share some sort of opinions about them, or at least about its unexpected Breach mode. Meanwhile, J.D. has finally gotten his grubby mitts on the Vive's contoured controllers and has his own ideas to share. WILL THEY COME TO A HEAD? Or will they just talk about how the latest 2D Mario games kind of suck?

  • PSTS Episode 207

    24/08/2016 Duración: 59min

What makes a horror game "horror?" Jeff and J.D. chase the monstrous white rabbit as they try to sort the "creepy" from the "horrific" during J.D.'s review of his latest walking simulator. After a quick (or not) review of why Jeff loves stealth systems, it's on to news you may have heard about: a new MGSV add-on, Dark Souls 3 DLC, and the sounds and sights of Mr. Mads Mikkelsen.

  • PSTS Episode 205

    10/08/2016 Duración: 01h30min

Like clockwork, we have once more reached the second week in August, which means Jeff and J.D. get to take a little extra time to call attention to game music they think you should at least recognize, if not know intimately. What's that? No Man's Sky was released? Jeff bought a Vive? That'll have to wait, apart from a couple of teases; music must be discussed.
