The Line We Must Not Cross: How to control our anger based on Isiah 64:9......In that verse the prophet implores God with these words: "Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord; do not remember our sins forever." From this passage we learn that God measures His anger in a way appropriate to each occasion. We, too, can learn how to control our anger and focus it so we do no harm.

If we trust in our worry more than we trust God we are sinning by our lack of faith in God, who has given us the richness of His constant abiding presence, for those who put their faith in Him. We can be just as certain and worry-free about God's love and protection. What is the evidence? It is the cross, where God fully expressed His love for us. Since Jesus overcame death, can He not help us overcome worry about things that will probably never happen? We should turn worry into gratitude for all the times He has seen us through difficulties. Worries flee before a spirit of gratitude and the Lord is pleased when we trust Him (1 Peter 5:7).

I am so very excited in our LORD to becoming to the 'House of Hope' August 10th and 11th in Windom, Minnesota! It is at the BARC from 5pm to 9pm both nights! The scripture that the LORD gave me this year is Romans 15:13.....May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. God has given me 40 years in radio, the last part of my life in Christian radio! Still doing radio programming and also consultancy work for Christian radio. I pray I finish strong! It all started in Windom, Minnesota, where my Christian foundation was built. That is one of the main reasons God has sent me there, this will be the third year. I have been moved by God to pay back the Windom area for all that the community did for me while I lived there. Windom is so very precious to me. From my days in Sunday School at the American Lutheran Church to my days working at the school as a custodian! I learned so much from so many! I had the best parents, the best family ever! The best role models…..so many from Windom. My prayer, my mission is that every child in the world would have the upbringing that I had. Big News for the "House of Hope" listen in for the news! I want to share this story with you.... In the early 1900’s, 16-year-old William Whiting Borden graduated from a Chicago high school. He was an heir to the Borden fortune. Before Borden began his Ivy League education at Yale University, his parents sent him on a trip around the world for his graduation present. Earlier in Borden’s life, he had come to Christ through the great ministry of D.L. Moody. While on his trip around the world, something happened that no one expected. As Borden traveled through Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, he felt a growing burden for the world’s hurting people. Throwing his life away Borden wrote a letter to his parents and informed them he wanted to spend the remainder of his life being a missionary. Upon hearing the news, one of his friends remarked that he would be “throwing his life away as a missionary.”

I pray for a day that we all will gather at Noon to pray in our communities. We are PRAISING GOD that we are on our way to reaching 6 million visitors in 6 years here at FGGAM! There is a remarkable text found in the first book of the Bible in Genesis 49. Jacob has 12 sons. As he is preparing to depart this life he calls all his sons around his bedside and pronounces a blessing upon each one. Genesis 49 and verse 28 states, “He (that is Jacob) blessed them every one with the blessing appropriate to him”. Did you get that? He pronounces a blessing upon each son, words that would be just for that son. Everyone of our children need to hear a blessing appropriate to them; boys and girls; sons and daughters. This week on Destiny Moments with Angel Murchison, Angel interviews Ryan Babin: Ryan was raised in Fort Fairfield almost his entire life. The son of Pastors kept him incredibly aware of the purpose and destiny he had in Christ. Pursuing Christ led him on a path to Philadelphia and a band named Unspoken, where he was able to tour up and down the east coast for a couple years sharing the hope that is found only in Jesus. While with the band, he met his wife Angela and knew through a series of circumstances that he was being brought back to Fort Fairfield, Maine to minister and work at Celebration Center, the church he grew up in and the same one his parents pastor. Since coming back, Angela and him have had 4 amazing boys. Life is an interesting journey. He serves as a full time employee at Celebration Center as a Worship Leader, Administrator, Minister, and all around do whatever needs to be done guy. He loves Jesus, his wife, sons, coffee, and hiking and feels blessed to be able to serve his community
