Across The Airwaves Episode 139 (Standard) Smells Like Teen Spirit!
24/09/2013 Duración: 01h28minHey ATA Listeners, this week's podcast smells like teen spirit as we begin our reviews on Book Two of The Legend of Korra with the first three episodes (Rebel Spirit, The Northern Lights and Civil Wars Part 1) where our favorite girl Avatar was being the typical teenager rebelling against her parents, Tenzin and even her boyfriend Mako until he set her straight. Then as we head into the Airwaves Rundown, the rebellious streak continues for some of our favorite TV characters/personalities with us reviewing the Burn Notice Season Finale where Michael turned on the CIA, Seth Green's sitcom about his relationship with a dysfunctional father called Dads and the New Girl gangs trip across the border to cause trouble in Mexico. Also Nico may also possibly answer the question that's been plaguing us all summer, how to get out from Under the Dome. So if you're feeling a rebellious spirit, have nostalgia for your teenaged days or love rocking out to Nirvana give this podcast a listen because it starts the Fall TV Sea

Tangent Time 07 (Standard Only) "Tangent in a FLASH!"
18/09/2013 Duración: 02h36minOn this exciting episode of Tangent Time, Michael & Woo are joined by none-other than fellow ATA member Andy Behbakht, on this special superhero themed episode (but aren't they all?)!!! On this week's episode, the gang (going in the Longbow Hunters direction) talks about the news that Glee's Grant Gustin will be playing Barry Allen aka The Flash this season on Arrow! On top of that, the guys reminisce back to twenty years ago (before some of us were even born...) when Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman first appeared and talk about how the television series actually shaped the Superman comic books. Speaking of comic books, Woo throws it out there that he doesn't think that comic books are as good or as "exciting" as they used to be, sending the group into a large and extensive discussion about the New 52, Marvel Now, and the comic book industry in general! There is also some interesting talk about the ninth season of Supernatural by Michael & Woo and Michael proceeds to plus MTV's Spider

Oh, and don't forget to listen to the story of "How Michael Got Back into MARVEL Comics!" (and which arcs you should be reading...) as Michael recalls his last week buying his first Nintendo 64, along with the Spidey game based off of the hit 90's animated series. Also: STAR WARS! As we don't just cover sci-fi on this episode but Si the man himself as we are happy, happy, happy to add Duck Dynasty to our slate of reviews, covering the hit TV show in the same fashion as our sitcoms. On that note, some of you (including the members of our ATA Corps) might think we've gone quackers lowering ourselves down to covering a Reality Show when we've directed so much hatred towards them but we've got good reason to cover Duck Dynasty since the guys behind the show are putting a positive spin on television's trashiest genre with the intent of making America a better place. So for more on this controversial addition to our slate of reviews and a ton of f

DC Nation Podcast Week 58 Part 1 (Standard) "Dan and Michael's Rousing Coverage of Comic Con 2013!"
22/08/2013 Duración: 01h38minGreetings and salutations DC Nationites! I am in a heroicly boastful mood today as we escaped the destruction of Krypton, investigated the streets of Gotham City, navigated Space Sector 666 and battled alongside the Justice League to create one of the biggest DC Nation Podcast Adventures of 2013. And in the words of Aquaman from Batman: The Brave and the Bold, we are going to call it… Dan and Michael's Rousing Coverage of Comic Con 2013!!! Yes, it's finally here old chums, our coverage of everything to do with DC Comics at Comic Con 2013, most notably the variety of panels where writers and artists discussed what's to come in our favorite DC Comic Books. However, covering the panels was really just a guideline as Michael and I used this episode as an opportunity to lay all of our opinions regarding our favorite superhero characters in their current state out onto the table. In fact, our conversation got so in-depth we had to divide this podcast into two parts with the first installment, which is a part of t

DC Nation Podcast Week 57 (Standard) "You're a Wonder, Wonder Woman!"
19/08/2013 Duración: 01h03minHey DC Nationites, did you happen to catch the movie with Gerard Butler that came out in the spring called Olympus Has Fallen? Well, in terms of the Smallville universe Olympus is rising as Clark and Lois visit Washington DC where they meet the first superheroine in her white tights, fighting for our rights and the old red, white and blue, Wonder Woman! Wait a minute, that's not right. It should be satin tights but that's not what the artwork shows, as Diana has got her bracelets but she does her heroing in a white jumpsuit instead of the traditional Wonder Woman costume but some future cover artwork showed that it's coming but at this part of the story, the Amazon Princess isn't quite the full-fledged Wonder Woman just yet as we think she's in The Blur stage in achieving her destiny. Anyway, with this episode's review of Smallville Season 11 Digital Issues #56–58: Olympus Chapters 1–3 otherwise known as Smallville Season 11 Print Issue #16 we talk about the decisions Bryan made to give Wonder Woman a Small
